I hope that through me showing you the things I am letting go of and why helps someone to process their feelings when it comes to being overwhelmed. Processing the feelings and thoughts are more important than just getting rid of everything. Please be gentle with yourself if you are struggling ❤ I'll see you again soon

Been working on decluttering as well. It feels so good to get rid of STUFF!

Thank you for sharing. This was very real and honest! After years of minimalism, I "took a break" from decluttering and now I'm in a situation where I don't even want to have anyone over because my house is such a mess. I don't know how it happened. I started believing a lie that more is more but I miss my simple life. I'm also gained 20 pounds when I fell away from my values. Looking forward to watching more of your videos for encouragement. God bless you and your family

Gosh I felt every word you said. There’s nothing I hate more than babysitting an item for someone else when I’m done with it. I no longer gift to people or sell anything via marketplace. The stress is just too much. I need it gone out of my house instantly. I get overwhelmed very easily and feel like I’m constantly decluttering.
We homeschool as well so again, more stuff other households probably don’t have. And I’m finding as the boys get bigger the house gets smaller. My mum recently passed away and my dad has mentioned to me this and that of hers and yes I’d love a few things but my goodness I don’t want it all. 😮‍💨
Anyways glad I popped on TH-cam tonight and seen this video. You’re not alone.

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your mum. 🥺 I remember a few years ago feeling immense anxiety thinking of relatives dying and being left with their stuff. I now have so much of my own stuff to deal with that I just cannot even think about others except to say “no”. 🫣

My reason for being overwhelmed is my husband job is not producing enough income. Luckily , he got a new job that will double his income. A major stress reducer for sure.

Yes. My husband got a new job during our lockdowns and is paid a lot less now. We are just trying to hold on tight. So I truly feel and understand what you shared xx

Dana k white (a slob comes clean ) is so encouraging in where to start when discouraged with clutter and homemaking and overwhelm. I hear you. I'm trying to clear out all the excess too.
    Xx

Life is so multifaceted isn’t it? We often wish it was just a clear cut thing but it isn’t. It’s very comforting to know others understand. Xx

One thing that I have also done is record myself just talking to my phone and then watching it back and it gives me a bit more clarity. What excites you? what are you good at? What do you *feel* led towards? Life is such a big journey. I wish you all the best

10:14 i think one of the reason you are feeling overwhelmed is maybe because of not able to take a proper sleep

    • @inspiringsimple

I agree! My sleep has improved SO much in the last few months since this video was uploaded. It was not enough sleep, not enough food and no time on my own. Thanks for your comment. It’s really important to remind others that not enough *good* rest can really contribute to overwhelm. ✨
