  • If you’d like to read my blog post at firstrivet.net I have pictures of the build as I go there along with other written documentation.

We started this build in July of 2021 with the hopes of completing it in about 2 years time. This is my/our first time building an airplane and we’re pretty excited to be doing so.
Check out the SlingTsi build I'm using to build my fuel flow system on tsi.rabing.de/...

I’m squarely in the do things twice camp myself! Very nice progress on your build.

How many cup holders do you think you'll have?

It's coming along nicely! We are building in Connecticut, and will be starting the fuselage soon. The metal fuel lines look interesting.

If you chose to not use the rubber fuel lines (and I’m an advocate for doing that), go with the teflon lines over the aluminum… The teflon lines are flexible like the rubber lines, but don’t have to be replaced every 5 years. I had already invested in the aluminum and fittings by the time I realized the teflon was a better route, so I stuck with it… IMHO might as well do the fuel lines once vs. having to revisit it every 5 years.

How did you resolve the inside side skins interfering with where the fuel lines enter the fuselage? We’re also doing hard lines and the side skins seems to interfere completely with where the fuel lines come into the fuselage.

Gad - for some reason YT isn't alerting me to the comments. What I wound up using was a couple of 90° AN fittings to cut around the corner. It's still pretty tight, but I think it's going to work just fine. I'll get a picture of it for the next set of videos. I'm working on them now...
