An OPPO A78 user here. Im being honest, everything what he said is true & accurate. You also get 4 years of software update or "48 month fluency protection" based on official website. With minimal use, it's possible to achieve 3 days of battery life on single charge. The ui is so clean, customisation is insane and have a simple design while not appear boring. For approximately $190, this phone is extremely worth the price considering the specs is quite great
Really considering this phone, the ppi(pixels per inch seems pretty low at 269. Do you notice pixels or non-sharp display? Amoled and all is great but that pixel density is throwing me off
I am using this phone for half year and it's amazing!! Strong battery life, no lag, no errors! The finger print works flawless! The sound is very good in conversations. The only negative thing is the camera. From closee up, the photos are good, but to tak photos from distance, not so good! And the phone has a compact size: not big, not too small!

Great review, Eugorson Quorch! This phone is a banger. Oppo is really on to the competition. But you forgot to tell us the peak of brightness of the display and the megapixels of the selfie camera. However, here's my veridict: Pros: - Simple and minimalist design, compact shell and IP54 rated - Pleasing 90Hz, high-res OLED display - Feature-rich and DIY Color OS 13.1 UI - 256GB+8GB for the base model - Optical Fingerprint Sensor is ahead of the competition - Power efficient chipset with 67W fast charger!! - Decent camera quality with EIS support for video Cons: - Gaming graphics are lower than on the Helio processors Thumbs up for the video 👍🏽👍🏾👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
What games? It can play games in HD and HDR. For PUBG, you just need to use a GFX tool to up the graphics and frame rate and it will run without lagging
@@goodboi1277 I actually meant those games you mentioned. But since you can tell that they can run on better graphics, I just got updated about this phone

Why does nobody ever talk software support ? Unfortunately these Chinese made phones are not assured of longevity for updates which is in my opinion , is important !
So true! My moms oppo phone no longer provide the latest youtube update on her phone via playstore and can now only watch youtube via browser. I was surprised when i found out, thankfully my huawei still provide support despite it being an old phone, crossing my fingers that redmi will be d same voz i just bought one 😬
@@Misa-oz6df Hopefully your redmi will have supported software depending how old the model is . There's nothing worse than good hardware let down by lack of software support , of course everything has a use by date . That's where apple and Samsung and now Google have great software support

I also got the redmi note 12 . Are you noticing any buy Like the phone just say system Ui has stopped then turns off once u press ok and works fine again til it happens later on?
@@EugosonQuorchI'll stick with the oppo a58 which has a middle punch hole 6"7 inch IPS display. I've been using oppo for a while and let me tell you that oppo makes the best IPS displays with color saturation which has nothing to envy from amoled displays. Considering that oneplus and realme had their fair share of early burn ins and permanent vertical lines led me to think that it might not be the best purchase and looking from both ips and amoled fhd with 400 ppi , besides deep blacks in the dark, difference is barely noticeable in a well lit environment.
Hello bro! Do you know if the phone case comes or depends on the region? I have seen videos of some with either no case or plastic case. Considering nowdays it's around 170 dollars it's definitely worth it and been interested on it for a long time, do you think it's worth it?
Just bought my first oppo phone. I am struggling with some of the set up and a few things I find annoying eg the floating round bubble which gives options for shortcuts. It seems to be always in the way of my typing. Also, the phone switches off at night. What happens if I need to make an emergency call. The screen is black. Still tying to trouble shoot.
Hey, man, I liked your video a lot. Thanks to it, I now have almost made up my mind about what my next purchase will be. Still, I would really appreciate if you could give me your opinion: I am deciding between the Redmi Note 13 4G and this one, Oppo A78. Both have around same specs and pricing is similar in Amazon. Which one would you buy, if it were you?
I think the phone is too expensive for its price, maybe it's me or cos it's an oppo phone, excluding the 67 watts fast charging and TH-cam premium, if you look at its other specs e.g processor and camera, I think it should go for around 130,000 to 140,000 naira
Hi, I wanted to ask how bright is the display outdoors? I have owned my Oppo A72 for 3 years now, it held up veeery well, in particular it is very robust, it felt hard MANY times, the screen did unglue from the case, but it is not broken and still works fine. I want to replace it for a newer model, I need better photo quality and brighter screen. That's all I ask. Thanks
How is the performance? I know that Snapdragon 680 is the lowest end chipset but does it lag for medium users? I have a Redmi 10C with the same chipset and it lags like hell unless I clean up the memory and cache files.
If you don't want to run games with maximum graphics, and you're into casual/well optimized games (Minecraft, COD mobile, Roblox, Rainbow 6 Mobile) it's good, even great. But if you want higher graphics or Epic games titles (Fortnite) it's not the best. I just bought it months ago and i love it because although advanced gaming is not its specialty, it has other great features, like the battery, the screen, the interface, all very good.
