    E23 fixed! I had to open the bottom panel to find out we a mouse had nibbled on a cable. Fixed the cable and it works again. So I even found a bigger problem to fix. A big thank you from Belgium!

    Thank you! E23 solved. Simple fix. Contact had become unplugged from the drain pump, as dishwasher was moved a few times during a renovation. Your video was very clear and easy to follow.

    Hi
    Here is another quick fix that works. The filter in the bottom of my dishwasher dishwasher was clean, yet clogged with mineral build up. I soaked the filter in vinegar (like cleaning a coffee maker) for an hour and it was like the second coming of the messiah--the dishwasher works 1000% better, the sound of the washing cycle is much more vigorous, and no more water tap error--for over a month.

    Thanks for your advice, Mark. I checked all things you told, but they still do not work. I also tested the drain pump with a multimeter, and I think there is no problem with it. so what do you think? where is the problem? Could the problem be related to the PCB control board?

    Nice and concise video. Thanks.
    love to hear if you have any extra suggestions on E24. i have done the obvious checks (see below). I looked thru your playlist hoping for more E24 stuff.
    I am really curious what can be the source of E24. In my case there is definitely nothing blocking the drain system. i have had the drain pump out. Dismantled it and cleaned. It turns freely. Checked resistances etc. I tend to do this from the controller end to confirm that the complete path to the sensors or pumps is not HiZ.
    I have had the outer armature off the recirc pump and soldered directly to the copper wires as I had suspicions that there may have been a hi Resistance in the path. i.e Failed connector. They use IDC to terminate the enameled copper wires. Turns out the center enabled wire just came away and under a microscope seems that it was only holding on by a nats whisker so i thought I had found the culprit but sadly still get a random E24.
    Sometimes my symptoms are that the dishwasher completely drains at start (as it is supposed to do) of cycle but still decides to throw an E24 randomly. Randomly at the start of a cycled, some times at the final rinse cycle and sometimes not at all.
    I have re-seated all the connectors, had the controller apart and checked for anything sus like leaking caps, corrosion etc. There are only a couple of electrolytics that look ok.
    In the past I have found sources of blockages such as bits of bone, glass and hair wrapped around the pump shaft.
    Perhaps it is a glitch on the supply rails. Maybe I can get the CRO out and look for any odd noise etc.
    It is now on its second error free cycle, but there is nothing I have really done since it last failed that would point to a smoking gun. We will see.

    Hello, Mark. Followed all your suggestions + extracting pump and cleaning water outlet and machine base. I got a reading of 80... do you think a difference of 10 might indicate an issue with the drain pump? Thank you for your time and support.

    • @Sawickipedia
      @Sawickipedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, 80 seems ok. Have you reassembled it and tried it out?

      @antoniobilelo 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Sawickipedia Yes, I tried but it didn't work. Reading is about 80 but only between 1 & 2; I get no reading between 1&3 ou 2&3 - appliancefault.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/IMG_5376.jpg. UPDATE: I removed the pump cap and it had moisture; one of the traces of the circuit board was damaged... Guess I found the culprit. :)

    Have anyone get this E-24 and need to replace the control unit to fix it? I have not find anyone done that for the info I search on the internet so could I say the control unit likely to be ok on any case that it still operate but sometimes have E-24.

    Thanks for your video. Bosch SHE65T55UC. Got sporadic error code 15 over a week or so. Dishwasher still worked once I unplugged and plugged it back in. Last night error code 23. No bueno. Found water under styrofoam float and drain pump area (oily looking liquid came out of drain pump). Question is, am I solving the leak simply by replacing the pump? What do I do about the styrofoam? Obviously dry off the pump area and Styrofoam area. How do I determine if/where the leak occurred? Just bad pump (If just a bad pump, I'dh get an error 23 instead of 15, right?). Appreciate your insight. TIA!

    • @Sawickipedia
      @Sawickipedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The oily liquid you found could just be from a slow leak, and the water has evaporated leaving behind everything else. If the disk is still in one solid piece then I wouldn't worry about trying to source a replacement.
      As for the E23, did this happen before or after you cleaned it out? If before then just wait and see if it returns, but if after then it could be a bad pump, and that's where the leak has come from

    • @silberfarb
      @silberfarb 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Sawickipedia The liquid I've found that the pump was sitting in and was outside of the styrofoam area, was sorta slightly yellow-is watery. What was dripping from the pump looked demonstrably different. Darker and slippery. As to the E23: I had had maybe 5-7 E:15 codes over a week to 10 day period. Each one seemed to occur after the cycle had completed. I could hear a motor-type sound for about 10 seconds and then quiet. I listened for a couple of cycle of this then pulled the plug. Like I said, this happened about 5-7 times but on the following evening of running the dishwasher, it worked. Then two nights ago, on pressing the start button, immediately got the E23 and it didn't work at all. I cleaned everything out (and I did find something rather rigid and sizable that perhaps got in the way of the pump propeller). I ordered a replacement pump. I'm hoping it's just a failing pump and that a new one won't get fried by a leak I haven't discovered. What do you think? Oh, by disk you meant the Styrofoam piece right? Very much appreciate your insight.

    • @Sawickipedia
      @Sawickipedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah by disk I mean styrofoam part. Hopefully a new pump solves all the issues

    • @Sawickipedia
      @Sawickipedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Apparently E27 is caused by low voltage in the electricity grid. Your best bet is to note the time of day when the error appears and avoid running the dishwasher around this time of the day.
