Thanks to this video, I found the broken white wire leading from the sensor. Taped and soldered... Good as new.. (well not really). Only video that I found that was super instructional.
I got the same fault E:06 and the door sensor had stopped responding to a magnet that I used to test it. Turns out it was a broken wire (yellow door sensor cable) near the bottom of the door where it is constantly flexed when the door is opened and closed. I had to solder it together and machine is working again.
Have you tried tricking the machine with a strong magnet? You should be able to get it to active by moving the magnet around the top edge of the door where it latches. Otherwise the problem could be with the wiring to the power supply control module, or the power supply control module itself. Hope you get it sorted!
@@legoglegoogy9813 honestly, they change the models so frequently that it's difficult to get the right parts for the model. After ordering 2 different control modules we've given up and bought a different brand of dishwasher... Good luck
Hello! How to verify, is it a problem with the sensor or something else ? I have about 8v on the sensor's disconnected plug , which drops down to zero when I connect the sensor. Magnet doesn't cause any changes. Also any resistor up to 100 Kohm, connected to plug, causes voltage drops down to zero. 300 Kohm drops to 2v and 700 Kohm drops to 4-5v
Got the same problem as mentioned here. Bosch used to be good, but now we've had a few of their products and they're all getting faults. I won't be buying Bosch anymore.
Hi, I had the same problem after replacing the DOOR SENSOR. The problem was the YELLOW cable broke at the bottom of the door. Need to remove the front panel.
hey guys, I have an issue with this same dishwasher, where in non of the the programming buttons are functioning. thus the default program is set on 1:30 or 2:30 and it doesnt start. does this problem seem to be due to the power supply too? has any one faced this issue and who was it resolved ?

I did not think a wire could just come loose inside the door but sure enough one was severed! Thanks bro…

Hi I've replaced the latch, and the control module and still have error 6. Do you have any other suggestions?

@@Sawickipedia tried the magnet with two different latch and three different control module. I'm thinking it's the wiring. Thanks for the video
