I know it's a little over the top with a great but almost farcical performance from Denzel, but I have watched it three times, and only movies at 9 or more fall into that.

This is one of my favourite films ever! My husband won't watch it because of the subtitles. I've watched it about 20 times and still see stuff I've missed and it messes with my head.
My top ten favorite crime movies: Dolores Claiborne, Maltese Falcon, Strangers on a Train, Double Indemnity, On the Waterfront, Godfather, Goodfellas, Once Upon a Time in America, Fugitive and Departed. The first two are tied and a couple of my favorite movies ever.
I guess Goodfellas is not considered a crime thriller because although there are some great movies on this list none are as good as Goodfellas-the Danish film Headhunters is also amazing

I was looking for a movie in which the killer is finally a policeman and in the end He commits suicide by jumping from a bridge I saw this movie when I'm 6 who knows her name to help me find it?

Hai... im looking for a movie, something like a detective who chase the suspect/murderer but he can’t solve it... until he want to say a farewell to someone he knew.. he offer cigareet/lighter and his friend received it with different hand (probly a lefthand man) and the detective revealed the suspect... I just wonder n curious what is the movie... my lecture told me that, but he cant remember the title, he just mention “a classic movie” Anyone know about it? Thanks :)

Some good movies there. Its a strange list though as there are other better movies out there than some of these listed. For example, No Country for Old Men or The Departed? Or Man on Fire, and Reservoir Dogs. I guess there are different criteria for different people.... Heat is a better crime thriller than Collateral, both from ML Mann.. The Drop was a great movie but mainly because of the brilliant actors more than the storyline. I could type here all day, as most of us could about movies! Still, it's a good list and there are two in it I want to watch - so Mission Accomplished!! 👍👍 Thanks!
