I just picked the same thermometer and had the same results. The temperatures seemed to be accurate but the predicted cook time was way off by hours. I emailed Chef IQ support 3 days ago and haven’t heard back. It’s funny how they responded so quickly to your video. I’m doing another cook tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes.

Good video. Nice camera. I like that you're using a lavaliere mic for the more immediate sound. I just purchased the Chief iQ 3 pack and was looking for a cooking piece that also reviewed the thermometers. My 1st cook was 3 chicken breasts. I cooked them on a Green Egg with a thermometer in each and following the suggested cook. Each time the iQ indicated a breast was finished I pulled it from the grill and placed it in a covered foil pan. They were perfectly baked. The meat was moist and delicious, I agree with your critique and hopefully they will pay attention and fix the cook time and the annoying reminders with a firmware update. It's cool that the app reminders also show up on my apple watch. Keep up the good work on your videos. Thanks.
