This is a 1080p test btw, It's just uploaded in 1440p. If you're curious on how the Ryzen 7 9800x3d performs against the Ryzen 7 7800x3d, here's a video: th-cam.com/video/iWaVm3jdafU/w-d-xo.html
A 480hz monitor is like $1k if not more.. maybe if he was a Fortnite comp/pro player, then sure. Otherwise nah, not worth. I assume he also maybe plays other games, so, dunno if it'd be used elsewhere
@@thevoid11223 Yeah def someone worth looking into, I mean 550 avg fos is crazy and i probably should get a monitor with a higher refresh rate but in other games I won’t get near this fps so maybe not
@@thevoid11223 Im on 480hz rn not quite the window effect but its very smooth. A true window effect would be 1000hz (0.1ms in-between frames) monitor but thats some years and new gpu generations away from reaching 1000fps on a 1000hz display.
do you recommend me wait until february to buy the RTX 5070? I also play fortnite, CS2, etc... on performance mode, sometimes I play Resident Evil. My main focus is 1080p 240hz
Im using 7800x3d and 4070 super was wondering if i should upgrade to 9800x3d but fps look exactly the same tbh. Went to the same place walked trough the same route and its exactly the same. So no reason for me to upgrade. Thanks for the video!
I have the 9800 x3d it's great, if you can sell your 7800 x3d for 350-400 I think it's worth it, but If you're not able to sell it it's definitely not worth it for that 10% gain
@@BusterFortnite for what i need a better gpu? I only play competative games on 1080p. 4070 super is already overkill. Just need the best possible cpu.
@@crwypYeha I mean the 9800x3d is pretty good and I’m getting high usage because I got a weaker gpu, but I got mine at Microcenter, I got on the website at the right time and had to drive 2 hours for it : /

Is that the alienware bro ? Also, do u play fort at 1440p or 1080p? I'm making the swap from ps5 to pc on a high budget ( $6000) and I definitely wanna try 480fps at 1440p since ps5 been offering 1440p already and don't think I can go back to fhd 1080p
@@zPabloZBwith $6000 bro You can get the best pc parts and monitor. You should definitely get the parts right now since black friday deals are here. If you want the best monitor it’s probably the ASUS (PG27AQDP). It’s $1000. The best CPU to get is the Ryzen 7 9800x3d that released last week but the Ryzen 7 7800x3d is the next best choice for gaming. The obvious graphics cards to get is a 4090 but the only thing is that the prices of those are insanely high right and and the new gen graphics cards are right around the corner (hopefully january)
I have a 1440p 360hz qd-oled. It’s the Msi Mag 271QPX which i got for $600 on sale. It looks better than the ASUS (PG27AQDP) $1000 but is limited to 360hz which is more than enough for most people tbh . If you care about performance more than the graphics than the ASUS monitor is the better choice.
@@BusterFortnite yeah ik, I put in the comments of my other vid that it was too weak and ppl with better gpus will get better performance but I did it because In February ima upgrade to 5080 and instead of buying the gpu and CPU at the same time in February ima just gonna buy the cpu right now and gpu when it comes out because if I bought them at the same time then it would cost me the $500 for this and $1300 for the gpu
To improve the rates at 1% low it is necessary to fix the processor frequency so that there is not much clock fluctuation and thus make the frame more stable

@@pearce_nz we're getting the 50 series from nvidia in january so the fps is possible, its just the monitor
Is this played at 1080 or 1440? Surely 1440p is the new norm soon? Such better image clarity at medium range
Could you upload a short with lowest setting cause I can see your view distance isn’t low like I want lowest settings but with same 3d res
Bro, test with PBO 200+ ?
RAM stock?
Could you do a DX12 Low-Epic settings video on 1080p Please! Edit: Nvm I saw you already uploaded one, Thank you!

you don’t need a 5070 to get 240fps in Fort or CS2
bro if you get a 50 series card you wont have to worry about 1080 gaming lmao most of the games you just listed depend on a better cpu then a gpu

80w is crazy
ur gpu usage should be in the high 90 if not 100% because of that your 1% lows are pretty low and the fps fluctuates alot
just checked my fps in br with rtx 4070s,r7 7800x3d etc and i got 650-850avg fps, 1%lows were 450 and 250+ in a battle, and 0,1%lows were 140+
so with some bios tweaking etc u should get alot more fps/stability
