He spoke about the day that caused him to not want to drink. His dad, an alcoholic, was picking him up from Little League and the dad reeked of alcohol. The dad was constantly throwing up on the drive home and, when they arrived home, Punk got on his bike and just peddled for hours crying and saying "Please don't let it be cancer" over and over again. That memory and the memories of both parents (the mum was a drug addict, just like his sister) haunted him.

I'm way more of a Punk fan than a orton fan, but also gotta see that Punk is a whiny Drama queen backstage, and in the world of pro wrestling being a whiny drama queen is worse than being a sometimes destructive drug/alchohol user.

I like both but Orton is high if he thinks he has deeper demons. Let me guess, he went for long periods without a dad (who was on the road) and that's pretty much it. Maybe some bullying for his dad being a wrestler but I doubt it given his genes. He's basically a kid who grew up in a single-mother household and has some angst stemming from that. But in terms of genetics, the guy hit the jackpot and was a natural Chad even when young. That affords you a lot of advantages regardless of his family.
Wrestlers talk about Orton keeping to himself and being more introverted/awkward but despite that he did fine and had a lot of opportunities through his father. He's kind of spoiled in that respect because he was shielded from failures.
I can definitely see Punk having a harder life with a much shittier family situation. Although he was gifted verbally and did fine for himself despite not being gifted physically.
In any case, Punk is hated by WWE so no surprise Randy finds reason to not like him.

Except people like mark Henry said he seen punk go out of his way to try and help everyone in aew who would listen or ask him something, you know the problem is the evps and their buddies who think they are top tier talent because they do unrealistic high spots and 60 false finishes and refuse to listen to actual talent like Mark Henry, punk, danielson, arn, and the other agents. This is well known well before any punk problems in aew. Face it, aewis ran by children who think they know everything. They also love to lie and plant stories to uncle Dave and the dirt sheets ...look at how well aew is now after losing their biggest draw, and managing their talent so horribly, listening to people who think they have a great mind for the business funny how they can't even draw with edge. Also, let's be realistic here, after punk lost his shit at that scrum and said anyone with a problem can come to him face to face and not lie about bullshit, so that happens and the fight went down.....so what happens not long after he returns, one of the evps butt buddies goes out of his way to pull bullshit knowing the outcome would be a confrontation or fight. So,, instead of Tony and actual adults being there how the hell do you think that wouldn't lead to a fight after what just went down before. Funny backstage fights are in aew all the time and yet its punks fault right? Punk is a dickhead to a lot of people there's no denying that, but you are going to call someone toxic or a problem because they confront someone who runs their dicklicker? It goes to show how feeble society has become to the point of pulling disrespectful shit doesnt lead to consequences, some people will confront that type of shit instead of hide and spread lies or talk shit and try to act friendly with no repercussions.

It’s why Randy was one of the most hated guys in the company by fans regardless of face or heel in the 2000s and early 2010s. Because he was so protected. Failing wellness policies over and over and over, assaulting fans at ringside. These kill peoples careers but not once was Randy ever punished, not once was his pushes stopped, that’s the power of being a generational star who grew up in the business. Where as Punk scratched and clawed his way to his world title success and was only ever seen as a transitional champion and kept out of the main events and when he finally had his 434 day title reign he was almost never in the main event. His frustrations with creative were extremely understandable to anyone who didn’t have a bias or agenda. Had the mic skills, ring skills, charisma, fan support to be the next peoples champion and was held down. Of course he was pissed. Fans think L.A. Knight is being held down or buried? Yup. Nobody is denying CM Punk's talent, that isn't an issue, not a problem at all. But the attitude he has had with every WORK situation, where his talent is on hire, he has created a toxic situation involving other HIRED talent. We hear this constantly from people who have worked with him.
You have to be a professional, and hopefully, he can be that professional this time around.

You think he is the one who left WWE? Sorry to tell you that they fired him in his wedding day.
He got an injury and WWE doctors didn't gave him a vacation, and when he talked about it WWE sued him and he won
His best friend Colt has stole his money.

    • @RageyRage82
      @RageyRage82 ปีที่แล้ว

@@swijii you just told me what everyone has heard from him for years now, only from his mouth. The world didn't hate punk. Punk hated the world, and thought everyone hated him.
"You're wrong". Ok, so why has he seen nothing but controversy everywhere he goes? Because he thinks that his problems are special, and that there is some conspiracy theory against him. He's paranoid, and delusional, and burns his own bridges. He doesn't know how to be a professional.
He just might be the best wrestler in the world. He has put on fantastic matches wherever he goes. But, there are other good wrestlers as well, some who have been better, that's just how it goes. But to always think everyone is against him professionally, at what point do Punk stans like yourself stand back and actually realize that maybe the reason these problems always follow him, is because maybe he is the problem?
There is nobody more delusional than Punk, except for the fans who believe every single word he says. Time to catch up with reality.
But, I have to say, I do feel bad for him in some ways. Of course people have done him wrong! But who hasn't had someone do them wrong in the professional wrestling business? "I guess you haven't seen..." In this instance is pure bullshit. Of course we have seen it. We all saw the matches. That has nothing to do with his unprofessionalism, and getting on the open mic in a press conference, and throwing a bunch of guys under the bus like that.
If Punk needs anything, he needs counseling. I don't judge him for that. But 0art of the problem is the fans who enable it, and pull his wagon of horse shit.

Btw it took a year for Cm punk to get those 3 reigns while it took Randy Orton 3 years to get those title reigns.
Cm Punk had a gripe of not being used to his full potential while Randy Orton backstage behavior and substance use was his issue.

That's true. I never liked Punk because he was straight edge. I don't trust a man who won't drink with me. When he came into WWE in 2007 I was gone. I quit because it sucked so bad. 2006 was a terrible year after 4 consecutive terrible years. 02-06 killed wrestling.
Then AEW happened & I tried to get back into it. Danielson moving to AEW is what did it. I Started back on WWE thanks to Sami Zayn putting the Bloodline over. Those guys were never any good without him. I hated Roman & I still don't think he is anything but mid card. But Sami made it work. Punk however got MJF to be a star & the best in the business today. LA Knight is #2 & I cheer for both of them. MJF has the title & LA Knight deserves the title.
Punk won his battle with the lying EVPs & got his own show & is proving AEW can actually make decent TV. Collision is MUCH superior to Dynamite or Rampage. It FEELS like a blend of new school/ECW/WCW/WWF all grinded together into a wrestling show. It just needs storylines that run long term. It's a new show so hopefully we will get that in time.
Punk earned my respect with AEW. That press conference put him on the map for me. I'll be a Punk supporter forever now because he GETS IT. The Elite don't.
