Update from the dev's as they have released a patch: Fatigue was taken out. Many of you expressed dislike about the fatigue meter adding unnecessary stress to what should be a relaxed experience. We intended for it to provide an incentive to take it slow, but after seeing your reactions we decided to disable the entire mechanic for now. For now instead of passing out, you will simply not be able to use tools without stamina, which will replenish on sleeping or eating. However you can only eat until the hunger bar is full and reset that with sleeping as well.
As an FYI if you're playing on console, as of this writing, the tutorials are missing from console as consoles are a couple versions behind PC despite the current versions having been sent to the companies. Tooltips (visible in the video when hovering over things) don't appear on console or if using a controller on PC.
Thank you! I'm getting it for PS5. It's in my cart and I'm so glad I saw your comment first. I can easily wait a little while for console updates to catch up. Thank you!
FYI: the quests are triggered by friendship levels! When you get closer with people they will come to you for help, or to run problems through you. Otherwise, you're on your own, it's your life! Before playing this game I thought I was a structured person that needed quests all the time, turns out, I'm fine without them if I can do things in the meantime. And there's so many things to do here! I mainly focus on building around my house and trying to get a steady supply of harvestables to make a nice garden. As you progress with your garden you'll start to see animals and I wanted to get some as soon as possible! So I just cleared all the wheat ears and got to making a wall around the property. Also making every recipe that could lead to another, so for example, if you make a bench you unlock a bench with a back rest and if you make that one you unlock another one that has a back rest and arms rest. Just play around! I love that a lot in this game.
Thank you for this. I have seen so many shitty reviews complaining about how boring the game is because there’s nothing to do and I was getting worried (I’ve already bought it lol). But I can work with “make your own quests” style games. A little creative freedom is a good life skill lol
Switch is a couple of updates behind the game, the console had the version they were supposed to ship on release day but that wasn't the one that shipped for some reason. This week you should get a patch fixing that!
Thank you soooo much for this video and explaining the tutorials! I hope everyone considering this game watches this video. I will add though that the crystal wheat is very good for compost (you will need SOOOO much of it) and if you do find oyu have too much (you won't lol) you can sell that. Price balancing will be coming...so yay! Neutral gift +10, liked +25, loved +100
I really wish they would label the items in inventory. I have so many things and idk what a lot of them are Edit: I’m playing on switch and the items don’t display details when you select them 😢

@@Fleurs_ Consoles were/are 2 versions behind PC release. Switch just got an update today to bring them to I think the same version if not a lot closer to PC version. Doesn't fix all issues but does address a lot of things.
@@Fleurs_yeah the switch version didn't even have the pink water on day 1 😭. It got updated later on tho but still a lot of things changed after 1.0.1.
This game really does look super cute, but I decided to let it marinate a bit more before purchasing. xP Thank you for explaining so much stuff in this video!
The only thing I don't like about the game is how fast the day goes. I barely made it to town then to my farm to explore the hidden area when the day was gone. I didn't have time to run back, then I woke up the next day with half a day gone already. Only had time to run to town real quick and had to run home again. Am I doing something wrong? It happens even when Im not using any tools to drain my stamina bar or energy bar....whatever its called
Thank you for the info. I have it on switch and things are missing. I don’t have the mirror on the other floor and it didn’t have any of the broken pots.
Oh my gosh, I thought the door at 1:23 was a door to the outside because there's a back door on the back end of the house! 🤣🤣🤣 I was literally like "bruh, that's so weird. Why would I need a door next to my front door? So I didn't even try it lol. Thanks for the video! It was very informative! 💖
I am playing on Switch and cannot figure out how to rotate items I place/pick them up to relocate. I also can't figure out how to click on different spots on the map. Wish there was some tutorials and then they stored them for reference later.
It might be worth joining their discord as they might have the answers for you there. I've not played on the switch so cannot answer this one but yes, it definitely needs more tutorials!!
Honestly, I was so stuck in the mines! I couldn't figure them out which made me kinda stop. I triggered the quest to feed Tin, completed that then it told me to find another artifact. I think you need to adjust the water levels some how using the drains but I don't know how to do it. 😕
It’s so cute I bought it way to soon I guess!! There’s no real explanation. Talk to… okay where are they !! The map isn’t useful. If you mess up the cauldron you don’t get it back. Wish there was a more in depth explanation
You can get another cauldron from Aurel if I remember correctly. Also, if you haven't played that much since you might want to load a previous save. The saves in this game don't override unless you tell them and you have a couple of autosaves at all times. That has definitely saved me from a couple of mishaps xD
There was so little videos I could find on this or how it ran on switch… I should’ve waited and maybe got it on something else. I got impatient and bought it anyway with the pre order price drop… I’ll pay the few extra bucks next time and save myself the trouble…
Small spoiler for making money I guess ! Still trying to figure out the whole game. Instructions arent clear xD Get the distillery from aurel as soon as possible and some rose seeds. You'll be able to make rose water and rose perfume which sells for a lot and its easy to make. Also lyra loves roses. Gives 100+ per rose. Funky bird is cute. Ehm lily likes planks and loves honey.. Tin likes lavender flowers.. If you dont know how to unlock the beehive recipe just craft the wooden crate. I think thats how I got it.
@@wyld3r I started off with potatos and tomatos and as soon as you can afford the distiller try to get your hands on it! You can already plant some roses and harvest them in advance ❤️
I don't particularly like that the game is double price on the Switch compared to Steam. I will wait until it is on a decent sale what with the different points and the extra cost for them.

I definitely think I'll wait to see if there are any quality-of-life updates before playing this. It does look cute though.
I think there needs to be some and I am also hearing an older patch has been released for the switch causing issues 😩

I think that's a smart idea, there are definitely improvements that need to be made.

The devs are looking into this atm, it seems it's not a very welcomed feature. I myself hope they get rid of it or make the fatigue accumulate slower.

Thank you so much! I've been so lost! I really like it, but it lacks direction.
So glad I am not the only one that feels this way!
@@Fleurs_ no no! I, honestly, felt bad because I thought I was doing something wrong lol
I progressed and found more direction when I upgraded my axe! It opened up new areas and that opened more quests.

You just walk up to the well and click the use button (E if on PC).
