Railroad victory, you love to see it. Or at least I do. Des and that railway rifle take my pick for MVP, but the whole team did work this game. Makes me excited to play my own railroad lists.
I have to admit, you got a good chuckle out of me when you said "With a sizzle and a pile of ash Dr. Carrington is gone". Not a fun way to go! That said, while Dr. Carrington pulled more than his weight in ashes in achieving the objective, I'm gonna give my MVP vote to Desdomona. Not only did her passive ability really help the RR cinch this win, but she got really lucky with that courser and took down her fair share of synths. I'm actually impressed with how well synched the RR characters seem to be!

All of you who are not WGNR Patreon supporters, you really, really should be! Even though the Doc, who will be remembered in the Hall of Heroes, and Glory, who almost lived up to her name, attempted some really heroic stuff, the MVP just has to be Desdemona. Dude that was intense! I loved it! Hard to pick just one, the whole railroad held up their end of the bargain (so to say) but in the end it has to be Desdemona. She took out their strongest char out single handed. Way to go! Ryan you are awesome!
Though call, without Desdimona, the doctor wouldn't have all that high end performance at the beginning, which allowed Des to be first class at the end...However Tinker Tom handing out some great starting treats and making for a great tech. Honestly if the situation could be made, I think your special force verus the railroad would be a great showing, because the Railroad is an actual team. Honestly with the mvps that ou have I would look for holes and fill those with one of those three.
I just got around to watching this. Great fun as always Ryan et al. Tactics/Rules question: In round 3, you tried to tie up the Courser by charging in with Glory, but she missed her Perception roll. Rules as written, would it have been legal to charge the Synth standing next to the Courser and just "happen to" end up in base contact with the Courser as well?
Interesting, I think you're on to something here! Charging one model and ending in B2B (either as part of the move or through a close combat slide) *should* be technicaly legal to ensnare a stealthed Courser without testing Perception. Going to file this away in the "how do you kill these things?!" file!
Good question! There's the Heavy Weapon Mount that can grant a green die when using a heavy weapon. It's not a mod, but a stationary utility item. Something to consider if dealing with a hoarde of synths!
I like it. After one of the members is killed and you say they are reduced to pile of ash it set me to thinking. Mini project to make: those red piles of ash you find when roaming the wastes. Thick pva and pile up sand and then paint it a glowing red sort of colour. Like a casualty marker. Just a bit of fun obvs no bearing on the game. Interesting to see them in play. I rated desdemona most.
Great fun to watch dude. Two factions I have never played... the railroad look really interesting. Desdimona for MVP, she was proper badass taking out that courser.
