Ahsoka has the personality of a cardboard. Anakin appears for no other reason but as a cameo. The oh so interesting Baylan is nothing but a walking sequel bait, since we know nothing of his motives or reasons. And Thrawn is grossly incompetent but protected by plot armor.
Man, I love the acting, design, and characters, but I can't handle how sloooow the disney saber fights are, especially for Ahsoka who's supposed to be among the fastest characters in the verse. Watch the fights at 1.25 speed and tell me it doesn't look MORE natural somehow than the molasses pace
this series might not have been that good, but imo it had it's little moments that were very well crafted, and almost all of the shin hati scenes had those .) not great story writing (well, better than episode 9, that is), but points where everything (picture, sound, lighting, music) fits together. Like this first 2 seconds, that sound, that face, that chord in the music - it had me there (and maybe lost me in the next wooden dialogue) but overall i liked much more details than there were in kenobi. :)
I love that sith aggression. The deep eye shadow shes wearing makes her look stressed out and ready to freakout at any second really sells the idea of her being a sith apprentice.
I love this reminds me of light saber duels from older star war days and giving us new bad ass new genre of Jedi including Dark Jedi. Yet people complain about it don't like it. Ahsoka definitely better than some whimp character Mandalorian don't watch it. While others like us true through and real star war fans like these action duels sure beats power rangers dino fury worst of power rangers series don't hear me knocking it. I love Sabine and Shin characters like them we want more of less crappy like Mandalorian we don't want.
I actually thought the opposite. Her swings are fast and crisp... for a woman. I realize that sounds sexist, because it is, but it's also true. Anyway, compare the speed of her movements to the actress that played Sabine when they're fighting in the forest.
She had such promise, just like so much in Ahsoka, but my goodness did that show go off the rails and get disappointing. It makes zero sense what Baylan did to her at the end.
Well, the 8 minutess is only what you see. What you don't see is the hours of choreography practice, scene takes, make-up and costume preparations, etc.

I needed more of her in this show. Her and Baylan were interesting. As cool and important (at least to the plot) as it was to return to Corellia, It took up too much time. Like the highs of this show are some great moments, but the lows aren’t even low, they just drag. I really hope they give her a crazy awesome story, maybe in the Mando movie (I have a feeling that it will have many of the Mandoverse characters)

She`s neither, she and Baylan are Dark Jedi Mercenaries, Baylan was a Jedi Master but lost his faith in the Order and turned to the Dark Side after seeing the Chosen One turn and kill most of the Younglings, believing that neither Jedi or Sith had exactly the right take on The Force and wanted to return to its source to learn its deeper mysteries.
I love how the jedi in Ahsoka are finally modeled after real knights - knights templar, samurai, they finally went back to the original inspiration and it rocks.

That's the problem with light sabers, they're too hot and burny. They're also not real, which I suppose is a bigger problem. Or maybe the lack of Vidal Sassoon products in this galaxy is the issue. Lack luster dialogue and the saber battles are less than memorable. To each his own but after seeing half of this video i am not motivated to renew my subscription to Disney plus to watch this.
