Very interesting suggestions, actually a change when we are bored to see the same patterns everywhere.

Great idea and some lovely patterns in there too! Also a blast from the past with the Lotus petal, that was one of my earlier designs, I should revamp it and make a new one for next summer! ☀

My favorite is the shine bobble sweater. It looks similar to the extremely popular bookclub cardigan. The only one I would have left out was the stash busting cardigan. I thought it was ugly and there are a lot better stash busting patterns with my personal favorite being the sea glass sweater by wool and pine. Thanks for drawing attention to some underrated patterns.❤🧶

Hehe Ggomjirag is a Korean word describing the sound and the form of the small hand movements that may look like knitting. Han Miran wrote so many knitting books and she is like a knitter guru in Korea! 😊

Very inspiring and I had only heard of Amy Gunderson and Mochiknits before this video of yours - great selection of patterns/designers who are rather unkown (in central Europe)!

I love seeing more podcasts from Canadians! I know this wasn't part of your official list, but you mentioned a jacket pattern by Sharon someone....I was very interested when you showed the picture. Would you be able to share the link to the website, or the spelling of the pattern and designers name? My googling was unfruitful. Thank you from Smokey Alberta!

Nice ! Thanks for all these reco, I'll definitly knit a few ;)
I actually knit the Semilla sweater by Sharins and it's beautiful and a very smart design. There're short row at the back and the pattern is written very clearly with a count of the stiches at the end of each step of the shaping to make sure you've done the right thing. I knit mine in a yak and silk wool blend and it's the most luxurius sweater I own. I recomand it 100% !

I finished my fleur cami a couple of weeks ago. It was a great pattern, very easy to memorize. But you definitely need something under it for work. I wear mine over tanks, tees, and dresses~ And I bought it as part of the 3-pattern package

I haven't knit the dress but I have knit one sweater from Anna and Heidi Pickles. It was my first raglan sweater and I found the pattern to be well written and easy to follow even as a beginner in garments.

You should look up Kaffe Fassett. He is one of the most famous knitwear and quilt designers in the late 20 Century. He has written dozens of books. Definitely not a new or minor designer. PS: Aran is pronounced as Erin.

I must say, I think it is commendable that you can see what the Annurca top looks like from that picture. It does make me curious how much more popular it would be if that picture would be better. Many knitters are visual beings after all😅

Thanks. I love a pattern roundup and learning new designers. In terms of quality of the Pickles patterns... they're deff written in a more Scandinavian way, so you have to know what you are doing. Also, the instructions they do provide in English are not the best. I would not recommend.

You showed a lot of lovely options. I'm definitely going to put a few in my favourites.
Just a heads up on the word Aran. It's pronounced pretty much like the girls name Erin. The A is a long A sound and the accent or emphasis is on the "A", not the "ran" part of the word. So phonetically, I suppose it would be AIRun.

Hahaha thank you! Im glad you liked them. I cant promise anything - but I will try. I think it's similar to the way that Canadians mispronounce garAGE as well. 😂 Just the way my brain reads it

I actually love it when people have a sound for when they show a photo. Be it a “click” or a “pop”, doesn’t matter. Somehow it feels helpful. Maybe because a lot of the time I’m knitting while watching videos and a sound helps me know when to look up to see a visual.
