The ZR2 and the TRX sound pretty similar but I gotta give it to the TRX. That Hellcat just has a more aggressive, grunty sound to it. ZR2 still sounds amazing nonetheless
HIS ZR2 SOUNDS GOOD BUT I AGREE THE TRX IS SOOOOO DEEP AND MEAN SOUNDING...
It’s a big bore 5.3 and when I cut the muffler off my highcountry it sounded amazing I might not be the best for this discussion I’m extremely biased and a die hard gm fanatic the previous generation was esthetically perfect but with dozens of recalls that my truck had the steering wheel locking up made me really mad gm needs to address quality control it was too late it locked up and destroyed my truck by smashing a light pole

I've always believed that these trucks (especially the ones with the factory dual "tips" etched into the bumper) look so much better with quad tips, but man, that sound ridiculous (as in good)!

The lack of exhaust to drag on was the thing I like most about ZR2. Also didn't like the bumper cut outs, much prefer the new bumper.
They make the dump style like factory for the zr2. He just didn't order those tailpipes was all. I believe they ask at ordering which tips you want and if you order the zr2 kit it comes standard. So not sure what occurred here
Awe sounds way better. I like the deep rumble at idle but love the tone on that zr2

You can get a 2021 rear bumper with the cut outs for your truck and it is the same body style just the think that was change was the front clip so a 2019-2022 1500 rear bumper are switch able

Sadly I work at CMA chevy and Toyota Martinsburg West Virginia as a detailer me and my coworkers don't get to see much of ZR2 Colorados or silverados or new C8 or cameros we did sell one ZR2 in the dessert tan I loved it thats the only one I saw when detailing

That exhaust system is boss it sounds so sweet and puts many other brands to shame. Are you able to rotate the mufflers to give yourself some more ground clearance? If not I would live with it that’s how an exhaust should sound and in my opinion puts Bora to shame. Thanks
My buddy has one of these for his Ram and it is hands down the best sounding truck I’ve ever heard.

IMO, TRX STILL SOUNDS BETTER BUT YOURS DOES SOUND GOOD.... I GOT THE NEW BORLA TWISTED INTERMIDATE PIPE AND IT MADE THE ALREADY AWESOME SOUND EVEN BETTER ON MY TREX..
