Years ago I had a wonderful face to face with a sloth at the Baltimore Aquarium. He was fascinated by my sunglasses, which were on my head. The keeper came over because he was concerned. Once he realized the sloth initiated the interaction we had a great talk about sloths. They also had a shy female and the keeper joked the male might never find her.
