This is the most impressive world and city I've seen in a game in my entire life, there isnt anything like it, the scope, the size of the building, the lighting and reflections, just walking in it is such a cool and unique experience
I love how the city looks, but I disagree about the size of the city. It has lot of interiors but by looking at the city in this video, you can see that is not big at all. You feel that you are a little city full of skyscrapers, but in a massive city like Los Angeles. I would not bother to have move fake buildings just to make thw city bigger. You don't need to get in in every building, but the few buildings that we'll need to get in that must be detailed and be full of rooms to explore.
City isn't super wide but it's pretty massive from street level. I think this universe of Cyberpunk 2020/Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot of potential. Launch of the game was disaster but still I see a lot of potential in this universe and can't wait to see how it's upgraded in expansions/dlcs and maybe even new installments in franchise (future)
@@alissonlares2926 Looking at the city in this video may look not so big but by playing the game it is, it's almost double the size of los santos frim GTA V (only the city not the full map of GTA V), anyway los santos feels much more alive and bigger since you can explore it by helicopters, it has an active metro raíl system, working taxis, etc. Night city has a lot of potential but it's not using it.

This would be a better opening for Cyberpunk than that shite montage, it establishes the setting and main locations. Differentiating the two statuses, Rich and poor, the main theme of the game. And it shows where you’ll be most of the game, AMAZING DUDE!

wow, its astounding. the ONLY thing i would prefer for the city itself, would be more depth in holograms like the ones in Ghost in the Shell. Huge ads for brands like adidas where its people running (as a hologram) then the logo- or geishas larger than building promoting a company above roads- ads for virtual learning or a new food product- even crazy stuff like snakes wrapped around buildings slithering up in a loop, these would make it truly amazing.
Yeah one of my friends said that it would be cool to see real company ads, and CDPR could make a lot of money by having them. I wouldnt mid seeing the Atari logo or a huge Guess hologram
Not sure what platform you are running but on my PC even with an RTX 3070 I can play at crazy stupid high settings. I only turn on ray tracing when I am just chilling through the city or such taking pictures. Oh yeah, I had zero issues on my PC as far as bugs when I got it in December of 2020.
You are the only one so far who has a razor sharp video quality. Most videos feel like one looks at a TV screen from televisions built in the 70s. This is awesome work. If only everyone knew what you used to make a video of such high quality...
Thank you, I recorded this using bot the xbox app for PC and OBS at a high bit rate. Then I rendered the footage at a high bit rate as well to not lose quality and did double V Pass on Adobe Premiere Pro because there is a lot of camera movement.
Really impressive city design. The best part of that game. For whatever reason, the low-lod vehicle traffic looks very cheap, and like an old prototype. They should have made those billboards look better.
and they are easy to spot too because you dont have to look that far to see those low polygon cars. Im guessing with so much going on on-screen they had to sacrifice some resources on other areas.
@@alan419barriga Given that those sprites are basically their main method to improve performance (have less real car models to render) they did not put much time into making them look pretty. They made hundreds of detailed clothes and weapons, but did not bother letting an intern make some updated car sprites...
It's a game where verticality should have been there for the exploration. I hate to be that guy who compares it to GTA, but at least I can go to a roof and jump off with a parachute (or without one). It's disappointing how big and awe inspiring the city is, yet all we can do is stare at it from the streets. It's the same disappointment I had when playing mass effect, looking out at the citadel, And just wanting to fly over to a random part of the map and explore it. Only, that game has an excuse. This game doesn't. In a cyberpunk game set in the year 2077, you'd think flying cars would have been a big deal. I mean, we see them. They exist. But we can't have one because they don't want us to see broken parts of the map and buggy textures. Its times like this that I'm reminded that open world games like GTA and Spiderman put stains and other textures on skyscrapers roofs for a reason; because the player just might be curious enough to go there.
seriously, with games like GTA you always have to bring your A++ game to the table. This game had so much potential but it disappointed as people got to experience it in depth.
Japantown is my favorite because of how some of the ads or announcements are in Japanese(i think). When i did that video walking around it, it was my first time seeing that giant flying commercial ship. That flying ship along with the back drop really do sell the futuristic aesthetic. Also how most of the civilians speak english but there is a load Asian announcer that you can hear around the city, its an interesting blend. And there are still more areas that i want to take a look at(mall and interiors).
@@alan419barriga yess Japantown would be my favourite too! I love the verticality of it with intertwining buildings and multiple levels you can visit. Jig jig street is one of the places in cyberpunk that feels very alive aswell as the japanese market on the higher levels. The general aesthetic of it with all the neon lights and also colored streets with orange and red markings, the japanese statue with multiple arms really give Japantown an distinct feel. Bur other than that I also really enjoy little china for similar reasons and recently I found a liking for the heywood sub districts aswell but I still struggle to seperate the three sub districts because they all seem similar to me
Yeah some of the inner sub districts(the ones closest to the center of the map) kind of look similar. I think its Japantown the one that has that giant multi arm statue, there is a small market underneath it too. Overall the entire city is impressive especially when viewed from the sky.
If this game could run and have a working train system / vehicles you could fly I’d be a 10/10. But it barely runs on my Xbox1 so 6/10. Absolutely amazing video this is what I thought this game world be like. Being a Corpo on my 3rd play though, flying above night city living the high life. Instead everyone is a streetkid.

@@ruggerorandisi7785 In some parts yeah because of its aesthetic but its different in its theme. Blade Runner is more noir and mysterious, this game is over the top and colorful, if that makes any sense. Some places do look a lot like the movie.
technical reasons and it wouldve been a lot of work for them to do, having the free flying camera you can tell that the map does not render properly when on the sky. The building ads gets replaced with placeholders, pedestrians become flat one dimensional figures and so does traffic.
Too chaotic. There should be a smooth and slow flight over the city flying one route and taken by one shot. Music from first Blade Runner might be a better option as well. This is only my opinion. Never the less, good job. Taken effort was worth the final effect.
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback, yeah its a different style not moving the camera so much with smooth panoramic shots, but i wanted it to be chaotic with constant movements so as to imitate a flying car flying between buildings.
I really hope they put in the necessary time and effort into revamping this game going into the future. It really shoulda been the BR esque game we all wanted to live in. And while I love CP2077 it can use so much more work to be a real VIBE! This video shows off the potential of this game so well! I wanna fly through Night City like this 😭

The only used 1 mod that lets you freely move the camera around the map. The game looks exactly like this.

There are only the ones flying by and some that you go into but do not drive. That sucks because there is a lot of verticality in this game
