Wow Glyn, that's really come together. Especially the centre plastic parts and wiring core. Nearly there. A tip for lubing close fitted parts like that brake peddle. Mix a blob of grease with brake cleaner, brush it on liberally and leave to evaporate.. You are left with grease filling the joint. Also for general maintenance. Used to do this on old Boeing aircraft elevator and aileron tab hinges. (not for use near parts that can be damaged by the solvent). Really looking forward to seeing it's first flight. 😂
That's a great tip Tim, thanks. There isn't a lot of clearance in there to hold any grease so that would help a lot and it's very exposed too of course. Hoping it will be on the road this month, if I say that out loud then it must happen🤪
When I saw this video was well over an hour, I delayed watching it but found the time this evening to watch it and it seemed more like half an hour. Brilliant stuff. I am sure you will remember to tighten all those loose nuts and bolts.
Thanks David, a few people have said that. I should look at seeing if it's not having some negative mental effect on viewers minds! Thanks for coming back to watch👍
Wowser Glyn! Had to view this in two sittings and what a joy to watch! This bike really is a thing of beauty and the headlamp, tail light and indicator covers are something special. Cant wait for the next instalment of this incredible project. Thank you for sharing the build with us 😃👍
Hello! Thanks very much for coming back, I hope it wasn't too much of a slog 👍 Hoping for it to be together soon so I can get out on some adventures like you are 🌞
I love these longer videos and as a Classic 350 owner, just amazed at how well they have designed this bike. It makes me appreciate even more this fantastic bike, looking forward to seeing how you deal with the mudguards and what colour you paint it. Halcyon Green is my favourite as that is “Omegas” colour. 😊
Thanks Peter, the green is a very pretty bike for sure. I think the mudguards will be interesting as first impressions are they won't quite fit! Will find out soon enough👍
Great attention to detail. The bike is really looking fantastic so far.😊 lol……Never cast a clot, till may is oot! Too true……fed up of the winter it causes my cold feet and shivers. Live stream, I be up for that, for sure. Look forward to the finish of the build. Will have a genuine smile, for you on its first outing.😊
Excellent, love the light grills, not normally my kind of thing but they really look great and suit the bike. Absolute bargain with the exhaust, that was a lucky find at that price.
Whow.... the assembly step by step, learnfull and beautifull. Love the raster you did on the lights. I have the baby blue one and its beautifull, but now on your 350 i can imagine you put on another colour ( like red or signals). Thanks glyn for this video and hope you get some nice ideas. Regards from Holland
The blue is most beautiful, it must make you very happy, I don't think there are going to be any more in that colour now either! I can't wait to have it on the road now, thanks for coming back🙏
Very nice great to see it all come together and fitting like Lego. One criticism though at 3:40 you inserted that long rod whilst in poor condition, it needed a clean up and protective grease coating. Cheers, look forward in seeing how the new tyres handle the road.
Loving the way this is turning out Glyn ..loving those grill covers...can I ask where they are available from? Looking forward to seeing the paint job now. Good work.👍
Thanks Steven, I've just updated the description with a link to the guards, you can get brass ones (mmmmm), chrome, black etc so lots of choice, these ones were really good, better than the ones I put on the Meteor for sure
Having fitted the heel & toe mechanism a while ago! it would be nice if you would give your thoughts about this non-well regarded bike gear changer please, ("others" have said its a terrible thing, moving onto the heel (down) to up change instead of flicking up with the toe to up change gear. I have thought about one but?
At the moment it's set as kind of toe only because it's higher at the front but I do use the heel part for a laugh sometimes and to pretend I'm old fashioned. I think a lot depends on whether you wear boots that let your heel flex, if you've just got rigid boots it's hard to rock your foot back and forth to do heel and toe. If you don't like it, it just works as a standard shift anyway
Hi Glyn, the classic is coming on great! Do you think the exhaust silencer would fit directly to the header pipe, as you did with your Meteor? Or is the footrest in the way?
@GlynOC Thanks, I thought as much. I have just bought a 2022 Classic 350 in red & chrome and a de-cat pipe off ebay that I will hopefully fit this week.
And bubs your uncle a great job I would like to till you about something important. If you would like to add fuel filter. I’m sure they make them in chrome. And also glass see through. Also just an idea. Congratulations. Please allow. The fuel to brine the system. Lemay Nelson. Vancouver Washington. Pacific coast. USA.
Thanks Lemay, I remember when you had to have a filter or it would block your carb and leave you stranded until you took the bowl off at the side of the road!

@@GlynOCthis also works great on the upgraded Meteor gear change.
I think this upgrade has really transformed my Meteor. It's brilliant.

@@GlynOC A very positive effect on my mind and some useful information for us fellow Classic 350 owners 👍

@@GlynOC hope to see you out on the road soon 😃
It's looking awesome Glyn. Love the contrast of the black engine and covers against the exhaust and casings.
Your videos are going to be the reference guide for anyone tinkering with their cassic 350’s sold all over the world.. 🎉
I like to make all the mistakes so no one else has to 👍

Great great job, Glyn. Can't wait to see the final result ;-)
Thanks mate👍
i'm waiting to see how the mudguards fit with those tyres, good job
Haha me too! I think it'll be 'just about'

Thanks Mark, won't be long now i hope. I'll be sure to get a good video on the go for that👍
Looking absolutely brilliant, you have great vision fantastic looking front end. Respect ❤
Thanks very much and thanks for watching👍
Excellent, love the light grills, not normally my kind of thing but they really look great and suit the bike.
Absolute bargain with the exhaust, that was a lucky find at that price.
Thanks David, it was. I think the chap had bought a full stainless system and didn't want any of the old stuff laying around so lucky for me!
From France, ça va être magnifique, beau travail.✌️
Merci pascal, merci d'avoir regardé🙏
Good work Glyn, I've totally bought into the headlight come indicator covers
Thanks, I was a bit doubtful when they arrived but they're quite slim, unlike the chunky ones on the Meteor which are a bit agricultural
Another awesome and extremely helpful video! Can't wait for the next one! Cheers Glyn!
Thanks very much, shorter next time👍
@@GlynOC honestly, I didn't realize I was an hour in until I saw the time mark!
Excellent videos, well presented and enjoyable to watch this bike coming together.😊👍🏍
Thanks! 👍
Wow Glyn! Beautiful work and outcome, as always 👏 👍

Loving the headlight / indicator grills... very smart. Might be a bit out there but white and black tank and mudguards...just a thought😁
Thanks Dennis, I see what you mean, I'll look into that👍
Looks spot on.
Thanks!
Good stuff. I am learning so much from your videos and getting inspired
Awesome, thank you!
Unfortunately Glyn,
I don't think you'll find the main stand will reach now you have fitted larger tyres?
Possibly
Great video 👍
Cheers Paul 👍
I forgot to show that, it still stands up but you won't be lubing the chain with it🤪
Good job, young man. Never be normal Glyn, always best to put your own spin on things.
Bike looking great.
Thanks Phil, great advice👍
Great progress on the rebuild and it all looks great, I think the headlight grill with the peak looks like a Roman gladiator helmet, do you agree?
oh yes, I see it now𐃃
A mammoth offering. Brilliant! 😊
I could have split that up into ten videos, perhaps that would be better🤓
@@GlynOC nah! 😁👍
Love the longer video's. Gonna watch this later, can't wait

Good idea, I haven't done it up yet so a bit of grease and a clean will be much better, thanks for the reminder👍

@@GlynOC thanks for that...think a set on my gunmetal grey bike will look the part. Look forward to next installment!👍
oh yeah, it would look hard as nails with those on!
My thoughts exactly.,.and with a straight through black custom silencer which sounds awesome I'd be in heaven! Lol.
They come with little ones for the tiger eyes too, but I thought it's a bit much
Now that is starting to look the part, not popular but I would be very tempted with some very short mud guards on, or shortening you existing ones.
Thanks Brian, yes some chopped down mudguards would be great. I think I'll start with standard and then can always go backwards👍
Having fitted the heel & toe mechanism a while ago! it would be nice if you would give your thoughts about this non-well regarded bike gear changer please, ("others" have said its a terrible thing, moving onto the heel (down) to up change instead of flicking up with the toe to up change gear.

@GlynOC Thanks, I thought as much. I have just bought a 2022 Classic 350 in red & chrome and a de-cat pipe off ebay that I will hopefully fit this week.
Thank Goodness you had clothes on when you went live, that would have been ... awkward 🙂
How do you know I didn't 🥺
Looks nice, think royal enfield are copying you, seen a pic of a 350 bobber with white wall tyres for end of Yr 👍
I was just looking at spy shots of that, quite unusual looking, maybe it'll be at the bike show in November👍 Thanks for watching
Great way to ruin a perfectly good bike
