One mans cheese is another mans gold... "cheesy" is a very subjective word and can be used in many different contexts. And there is such a thing as good cheese... a quote can be both epic and cheesy! Also, just because I've included a quote from a movie, it doesn't imply that I think the movie itself is 'cheesy', more the line chosen qualifies... I happen to love a great deal of the films listed here.

Used to not like Fellowship of the Ring as much as the other 2 films as a kid, but rewatching the trilogy as present day me it's possibly my favorite of the 3 films.
Who really has time to monologue while dying, though? Epic it may be, but there's a point there. A lot of medieval epics, when you break them down, are pretty cheesy. The heroes and villains get majestic lines and dialogue. In reality most people just die.
No matter what anyone says “It’s not a tumor” is one of the best lines in movie history.
“I aint got time to bleed” is one of the most badass quotes in any movie
Some of the lines are only cheesy when taken out of the context of the film. For example, the first quote from American Beauty and the Wilson quote from castaway.

There's nothing cheesy in the trilogy. There's just of memes and there's a lot of people complaining about the anticlimactic ending but that's how the story ends in the books.

Darren Ewing was very off in this scene. He sounded more excited, rather than afraid. And to be honest with you all, he’s not a good actor. “Troll 2” was just a piece-of-crap film that, definitely, deserves an episode on MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000).
Btw, Ewing does not deserve an Oscar. He deserves the Golden Raspberry award.

Storm's line "Do you know what happens when a toad gets struck by a lightning?" was supposed to have been a come-back to a catch-phrase that Toad should have made throughout the movie, but those lines got cut from the movie.

How is the scene from Castaway ("Wilson" scene) cheesy? What line is cheesy? That's an incredibly sad scene if you know the context, which many people don't. They just see some loon crying about a soccer ball and laugh, but it's about more than a ball. I like these other scenes, but I don't see how Castaway belongs here.

That American Beauty quote is not cheesy at all. The whole film is pure beauty, and that scene is so simple but yet breathtaking at every second. It is one of the greatest movie scenes ever made. The music alone gives me goosebumps.
