I think you should have somewhere we can tip you for the great info you're providing. Normally I see the option on a TH-camr's video, but I guess I don't see it on yours because you haven't joined the youtube membership program thing.

Hey Melisa, big fan of your videos! I am wanting to go through your Course Builder course and start my own online business. I don’t have a personal laptop though and was wondering if that is needed for it or if I can do most things through my phone? Thanks in advance for the reply!

Great question! I think there are actually two pieces of this question. The course itself is optimized for desktop, but technically yes, it’s viewable on a phone browser. So I could say that yes, it’s possible to watch it on your phone.
But I think the real issue you’ll come up against is the fact that the tools used to create an online course are desktop-based tools. Creating course videos, resources, and building in course platforms are all typically done on a computer, so I’d hate to advise that the course is viewable on mobile when I’d guess that the process of building your course will be a challenge.
I hope that helps, even though it’s likely not the answer you’re hoping for. And feel free to contact my team via witandwire.com/contact if you have any other questions.

Thank you Melissa! I agree with your points. I used to have a feedback form on my website and asked some clients to fill it out which was helpful at the start both for feedback and review. However, many people in therapy prefer not to give their real name and photo . I have some reviews on my website with initials or a changed name (all reviews are real of course).
It would be great to have more clients leaving positive reviews and offering their photo for the testimonial as well.
Would be great to have more tips on this topic. and interesting about the tool you mentioned.
One can also record a review in a free zoom account. Or on their phone.

That makes sense. I think in your industry, prospects would understand why people wanted to remain anonymous, and you could include that as an option in your submission process with any of these tools. (They could choose to submit a video, a text testimonial with a photo, or even a text testimonial and check a box that says “I prefer to remain anonymous.“) I hope that helps!

I am grateful for the information you have given. Thank you!...
Can I launch a program for Sri Lankan students and get the payment in Sri Lankan rupees through the Teachable Platform?

I’m so glad to hear you’ve enjoyed our videos! And a great question about payments, since it’s something every business owner should think about. Every platform has different currency capabilities, so we’d recommend checking out their help centers directly. For example, you can see Teachable’s here: witandwire.com/teachable (and see “Knowledge Base” or “Contact Support” in the footer).
