This is a video of Tim Simek playing at the Great Smoky Mountain Arts/Crafts Show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center this year. He records guitar and keyboard on separate tracks and plays Hammer Dulcimer with it live.
Just amazing. One of GODs gift to humans are these unbelieveable complex instruments that can create unmeasureable joy and harmony in the hands of a skilled musician. The piano, guitar, saxophone, violin, cello, hammered box and the list goes on. No way these things came from nothing just from curious humans. GODs little gifts to us to enjoy, entertain and inspire one another. If this is incredible, I can only imagine this instrument in the hands of God almighty or one of his arch angels.
It’s unbelievable the level of accuracy in the playing. It goes to show what levels humans can achieve through practice,effort and hard work. Amazing. Even a perfect rendition such as this has had one person that has hit the dislike button. Goes to show you can’t win them all!

Jason. Thanks for your comment. The instrument is called a hammer dulcimer in English. The French counterpart is called a tympanon.
