there were 2 shows, I saw the first one and will regret not going to the second one for the rest of my life ... saw them for the first time Aug 81 in Oakville - Police Picnic - saw them a total of 5 times - not enough !! need to see them once more before I die ....
You were there?! Excellent! I was too young to attend and lived in Northern Ontario at the time...Larry's was one of my favourite places to see a band in Toronto, particularly a loud heavy one.
wow I forgot they played at Police Picnic. I was there. Do you remember seeing John Otway perform? I think he fell of stage playing Really Free. Freakin hilarious
this is actually from the 'HA' live album...a little deceptive of the uploader suggesting that he recorded this at Larry's Hideaway when in fact Konrad Plank did ...
no, you can't get Pssyche, but how about B of a F in question, or Flock the B-d\side for that matter ... I was at that concert at Larry's ... I should have recorded it too ...
agreed that it is not on the Album, but rather on the CD re-issue of HA ... my point being that any schmuck can upload from a record and say that it was recorded at Larry's Hideaway ... and back in 1982, I doubt he would have been able to record this track with this quality The only gizmo available at the time was a Sony Walkman.
@wilfrid55 CD reissues ca. 2005... at least that's what the track listing says (I don't actually have it. No idea if there were multiple shows or whatever...) EDIT: Yeah, sorry; upon further investigation, on the reissues it's just a bonus track of the studio version from the 12"...
amazing sound. better than most live cd's. man I'd love to have a recording of the whole gig

Just for the record... This version is not on any official release or re-issue and in fact was recorded live at Larry's on 9th August 1982.
Fabulous. Thank you!

Excellent! Where the hell did you find this (?!) and thanks for sharing...
Really? The copy of "HA" that I owned was just a ten-inch E.P. and "Birds..." wasn't on it. Alternate pressings, maybe? Great to hear it, though.
