Well for me it’s cause I’m traumatized, sometimes it’s hard to spot out a next line when free styling or come up with a next line in a song or a new one entirely. It affects me in my everyday life actually.
Try staring off with 4 words that rhyme Thats 4 words you can separate into 4 lines (one word at the end of each line) Throw on a beat and practice with those 4 words

I’m sure it might help in some way but I don’t think that much. Maybe with delivery and finding a voice but that’s it. Everybody can rap along to songs but it doesn’t make them a rapper.
