Rapping it where it sounds good is ten times harder than writing the lyrics I’m starting to realize

@marynails5919 when you get to the point where the lyrics come easy and they even seem like they'd be fire as fuck. Like you can imagine your favorite rapper rapping that and killing it, then you've got the lyrics. But you're not at your favorite rapper's skill in rapping yet. You may have analysed the lyrics and found out what makes what tic and find out how to replicate that greatness, but it's much harder to actually do what they do and rap it. It's why there's people who write lyrics for other people. Not everybody is doing it because they don't wanna be famous. Some people do it because they genuinely can't rap like the person they writing those lyrics for. You could write lyrics for Busta Rhymes but could you rap it like Busta Rhymes? You could write story rap for Slick Rick. Can you do it like Slick Rick could? Lyrics are important as its the message of the song but it's equally important if not more being able to rap it right. If you rap it right then someone with lyrics less deep, less creative, less everything, can make a better rap than you and have the rap be about they don't wanna wipe their ass.

Dude, I'm brazilian and also an english learner. Lately I've been writing some stuff everytime I hit the blunt. But I don't trust my flow enough. That's why I'm here. Also I have a lot to improve in my vocabulary. Anyways, nice content bro. Regards from Brazil

@@THERAPCOACH I was looking at some young money artist like Nicki and Drake do in their techniques for flows and a video mentioned arranging your flows so to set up how and when on a beat to switch up the flow pretty much to have multiple flows on one track and how to set them up I didn’t fully understand what they were meaning so I thought maybe you could break it down for me and there’s probably a different term for it.

Use the 4 COUNT METHOD, which he has a vid about this topic too. Each punchline or bar should be on the snare and kick.
SN: The engineer can also adjust it where you're on beat. That's a little cheat code.😂
