@@kikojffr my recommendation would be sell it and use the lucent to fully trait a blue weapon. Idk what to do xD
Thank you so much. Sadly my Duke Greatsword is already lv 9 and i cannot transfer any items into it anymore :( Is there a way to get blessings up for the item a different way or is transferring a fully traited blue weapon the most efficient (and only) way to do this?
am i able to transfer more than once on an item? for example if i already transfered a blue weapon into my new purple weapon, will I be able to trasnfer a new blue weapon now fully traited to the same purple to at least get the blessing?
If you transferred your blue to a temporary purple, and ended up with 960 blessings on that purple, do you keep the blessings if you transfer that purple to more of an end game purple? Just wondering if it is better to have max trait blue weapon vs temporary purple weapon!
I got a problem been unlocking traits fine and lvling them got that, got the the staff of the umbramancer from a drop from the open dungeons, anyway got my weekly reward offered me the exact same staff of the umbramancer i thought great i can now use this to unlock my 2nd trait line on my staff, but no cant use it, awful.
when you swap a trait on a purple does it reset your progress? ex; you have 3 levels in 1 trait on ur purple and decide you want to convert it to another trait, can you? or does it reset its progress? If you can, does it cost more to do this or is it the same?
@@NovaGamingFPS yeah I couldn't find information on this so I tried it earlier, unfortunately, a level 2 purple trait randomized will change the trait and set the level to 1 lol.
Ok, so "It will also transfer it's blessing" = "the traits on the blue gear gets converted into blessings which are then applied to the piece of gear it's transferring into". I assume, anyway, that's what he means.
can you only do 1 transfer per item? cus i got mine ex: my cape i trnasfered my lv6 blue cape to lv0 epic ones and it became like lv4 or 5 smthng then i decided to make a lv9 blue cape to transfer it again to my lv7 epic cape (which i lvled up from lv5 as i mentioned above) but i cannot select it anymore to transfer even tho i followed all the steps unequiped etc
lets say our epic item's blessing is 300 and we put rare trait on it and use the blessing so in that time since its not 100% to upgrade so if it fails blessing will go 0 right?
So upgrading your trait on your weapon you can do it with any purple Item that has the same traits ? And unlocking a trait is only possible with the same weapon or unlock stones ? Isnt then the cheapest way to Unlock the slots with stones. Then upgrade the trait with the cheapest purple item ? Are purple weapon traits only upgradable with weapon enchanments or does anything work ?
Yes. Not necessarily, since weapons take a ridiculous 100 stones to unlock while every other piece takes 50. So if you can, buy your weapon trait with lucent (unless they are ridiculously expensive obviously) and unlock it that way.

Did you raise the chernobog sword that you show in the video to level 7 with stones first and then put the blue equipment in it? I guess I did it wrong, I raised my purple bow to level 7 giving it a blue gear, then I tried to put another blue bow on it but it's no longer possible I guess

You can only transfer a single time to an item. And apparently, you can't downgrade (from a purple to a blue). Did the same, and have been struggling with this. As far as I can see, the best option yet is to transfer from this trash purple to a great purple, and spend tons to* trait it with other copies and/or bless it up with blues, or just leave it there and stick to a well-traited blue, until some other solution appears (did it, not bad at all).

Hey so if I’ve got a tonne of blues with good traits should I extract them and sell them… is that the way to go to slowly make lucent ?
yep it is
Hello sir, I have a question. I was also fortunate enough to drop a Cherno the other day, mine came with hit chance. Now I don’t know if I should use it with hit and use unlock stones to get some other trait, or if I should extract and sell for 4k lucent, i see you will be using yours, maybe I should do the same?
Thank you for all these videos, they have been very helpful!!
@@kikojffr my recommendation would be sell it and use the lucent to fully trait a blue weapon. A fully traited blue is way better than an untraited purple and purples, especially world boss loot, are still very expensive to trait. Keep your blues until you have a purple at 3/4 traits in all slots or its a downgrade
@@ddmosh8edon972 I already have resonance blade fully traited, but if keep chernobog I cloud max trait hit (already on the weapon) and add heavy chance with trait unlock stones and then level up with cheaper purple traits, I would only be missing the crit, but I wonder if it is worth it, maybe I would be better off with 3.5k lucent on the bank and keep blue sword. Idk what to do xD
Tbh I would sell unless you’re gonna spend real money to trait it out
Thank you so much. Sadly my Duke Greatsword is already lv 9 and i cannot transfer any items into it anymore :( Is there a way to get blessings up for the item a different way or is transferring a fully traited blue weapon the most efficient (and only) way to do this?
@FumaazHD you can get the same trait in blue weapons and try to trait up the weapon, every time it fails you'll get blessings
@@Calmload96 Yea, thats an option. But a rather expensive one too :( Thanks tho
@@FumaazHD only way now to get blessings in your gear
No there isn’t not that I know of luckily the traits for the dukes great sword aren’t too expensive
Got the greatsword from butcher . Is it worth spending unlock stones or just grind boss and pray?
Can you use a different weapon , example blue crossbow plus 9 fully trait into chernobog
tbh I do'nt know but I think so
What should I do if I have some fully upgraded purple gear from transferring my previous gear that wasn't traited. How can I fix/come back from this?
Can you share your character preset looks neat!
Yes! I will in my future vid
How many blessing will you recieve if you transfer fully traited purple into purple also. like switching t1 purple to t2 purple weapon
i don't know brother i have never tried this
How many times can you add blues into purple ? Mb you can transfer blessings multiple time ?
hm I actually haven't tried transferring more than one item of blessing you'll have to test it and see
people said its only once.
am i able to transfer more than once on an item? for example if i already transfered a blue weapon into my new purple weapon, will I be able to trasnfer a new blue weapon now fully traited to the same purple to at least get the blessing?
nope just once per item
Says he's basically f2p but by the gold edition... 🤣 but solid guide bro love the content
at the time of the vid I had barely spent any of the 6k lucent that it comes with brother XD
Do not use trait lock stones under any circumstance unless it is on tier 2 purple gear
yeah oops
@@NovaGamingFPS no need to apologize they are just limited and super important for the later gear, not this temporary gear.
If you transferred your blue to a temporary purple, and ended up with 960 blessings on that purple, do you keep the blessings if you transfer that purple to more of an end game purple? Just wondering if it is better to have max trait blue weapon vs temporary purple weapon!
I have no idea! I'm sorry I've never tried that
@@NovaGamingFPS supposedly it works but that's a single Reddit post and maybe 1 video, guess there's only one way to find out 😂
Shoul you not use blessing for the most expensive trait ?
You should. If you want to be most efficient.
Only if it’s the most expensive trait out of all the traits
I got a problem been unlocking traits fine and lvling them got that, got the the staff of the umbramancer from a drop from the open dungeons, anyway got my weekly reward offered me the exact same staff of the umbramancer i thought great i can now use this to unlock my 2nd trait line on my staff, but no cant use it, awful.
damn brother thats rough
when you swap a trait on a purple does it reset your progress? ex; you have 3 levels in 1 trait on ur purple and decide you want to convert it to another trait, can you? or does it reset its progress? If you can, does it cost more to do this or is it the same?
um I honestly on't know I have never tried to swap a trait that was upgraded im sorry
I assume, anyway, that's what he means.
can you only do 1 transfer per item?
cus i got mine
ex: my cape i trnasfered my lv6 blue cape to lv0 epic ones and it became like lv4 or 5 smthng
then i decided to make a lv9 blue cape to transfer it again to my lv7 epic cape (which i lvled up from lv5 as i mentioned above)
but i cannot select it anymore to transfer even tho i followed all the steps unequiped etc
Yeah I think you can only do one transfer per item
lets say our epic item's blessing is 300 and we put rare trait on it and use the blessing so in that time since its not 100% to upgrade so if it fails blessing will go 0 right?
yes it will go to 0
Can you do this with blue armors as well?
Yes
Has to be the same item type right? I tried to transfer blue to my purple for leg slot and it won't let me for some reason, any idea why?
Yep and is your item still equipped?
Why i cant use my 9 blue into my already 7 purple? it dont shown in the materials tab like in the video :/
Make sure you unequip the blue in all of your loadouts or it won't show up as an option!
Yep that’s correct, and yes that’s usually the way
Great info!
Glad it was helpful!
Is chernobog that much better than Karnix? doesn’t seem like it’s worth it unless you get a random drop
definitely not worth buying for normal f2p players
Hello I´ve traited max my blue daggers and enchanted to +9, now I want to transfer them to my purple dagger +7 and 35% but i cannot see them in the list for tranfer? anything I am missing? THX
I discovered that issue is problably that you can tranfer into 1 item only 1 time, since i have already tranfered my +9 blue dagger into this purple dagger before I cannot do it again, what u didnt tell in the beginning is that you can tranfer into 1 gear only 1 time, and u have to do it +7 and 35% with scrolls... now i ruined my purple boss daggers...
Oh weird I had no idea
How come I can't level up my armor from level 7 to 9 with my fully traited blue armor level 9?
um is your blue armor still equipped
hey quick question in 1:28 of the video. My lvl 7 purple wand doesnt seem to show in transfer tab. any reason for it ? it's definitely not equipped because i tried unequipping all items. thanks in advance
same here
make sure its not equipped in any of your gear loadouts other than that idk brother
Seems to me its quite impossible for F2P to do all this. I've played almost 200hrs and never dropped anything worth selling and never dropped purple gear so far. Doing dungeons/worldboss/farming everything. So I either spend money or quit, cus no progres will be made.
Thanks for showing me
yeah i feel that its definitely hella rough as a f2p player
nice tutorial!
Thank you!
Hold on, I don’t understand. So what does a fully trait out item benefit the next item when you transfer?
It’s a way to fix rng when transferring traits from a lower tier to a higher one, otherwise each blue trait you put on a purple piece of gear only has a chance to upgrade the trait.
You get blessing when you transfer to the next item.
Are you going to drop a build guide?
Maybe I don’t really have my own build though just copying kanon and don’t want to steal his content
so a full blue trait weapon, the trait don't transfer to the new purple weapon?
Is there a list of all the rare, epic weapons? I have the same sword and shield with demon damage.
Yeah look at the crafting or on the auction house
What if you transfer a 2 plus 9 weapon to a purple one. With full traits. So that is like 1800+ blessing?
The purple gear is plus 0
hm honestly im not sure, ive never tried you'll have to let me know how it went
Isnt it possible to transfer multiple fully traited lvl 0 blue weapons to a purple. To get 960 blessing each time
im pretty sure u can only transfer once
nope, only one transfer
Can only do one transfer
Can't do this with any of my gear I think becouse I transfer the from my greens into my blues now I have fully trated blues I can't do anything with except deconstruct is this
right?
Guys I didnt understand this; He transfered his blue weapon to purple but he lost all of his traits. Maxed out hit chance, constact bonus damage and health regen just goes away? So you shouldnt upgrade traits on blue gear?
@@OnurParlak Those traits are what gave him the 960 blessing, it's definitely worth it because purple trait upgrades are expensive
yeah just buy the cheapesst blue traits to get the 960 blessing on the purple gear

Good how are you? I'm not sure brother is it equipped?
1 gear can only be transferred once so if you did already u can't do it again
Did you raise the chernobog sword that you show in the video to level 7 with stones first and then put the blue equipment in it? I guess I did it wrong, I raised my purple bow to level 7 giving it a blue gear, then I tried to put another blue bow on it but it's no longer possible I guess
What if we're pve only? I heard armor traits are useless for pve, is it still worth fully traiting blue armors?
@@Tom67Slick stuff like hit chance, HP for great sword users, Mana Regen, +damage type traits, are probably good for PvE, among others I'm sure. There's something for everyone. You don't need them for PvE. You could clear a dungeon with green gear if you know the mechanics, but you'd be doing PvE at a high level of efficiency with traits
It’s still worth for pve will make clearing much easier
What about future gear?
If we get an expansion and better gear drops, will we then need to transfer our purple gear with the blessing and do the Traits all over again?
yes, f2p like me tend to keep blue armor/accesories (fully traited)
and only upgrade your weapon to purple
@@GooglennMusicGamingChannel no, I meant FUTURE gear the devs add in to the game, like tier 2 purple or something like that? Also, is the blessing really worth that much? Isn't it only a small difference? Like shown on the video, it was only 2 trait enhancements...

Wait a second there!!!! Please confirm me this! I've been busting my balls trying to get perfect traits to some of my blues....
yeah this is exactly right
I'm pretty annoyed with this system honestly. I leveled up a purple sns all the way, thinking that I would transfer to bis sns not realizing some gear doesn't transfer

Hey, anyone knows if i already upgraded Purple resistance crossbow to +9 but i havent trained the blue crossy before i transferred over. Am i now hindered from getting blessing on my next piece or am I able to make a “scrap” blue piece, lvl it up to lvl2-3 or somet (just so I can transfer to new purple) and just trait it up and feed it to my new weapon before I transfer my purple crossbow lvls there ? Will that work or blessing will be lost once I transfer +9 crossbow without a blessing to lvl 1 purple with the blessing.
@@GuilhermeDallaCosta-n3c think im just gonna whack some cheapest traits for the purple crossy i can find and hopefully when i trait it and transfer to new crossbow (after i get it) itll have blessing on it. ty nevertheless for explaining yopu can only transfer once etc.
@@adrian.2478 yea, try the cheapest available trait, and be sure there are similar traits in blue items on the market, this way you can try to upgrade multiple times, to later transfer to the new crossbow. This should work.
I don’t think you’ll be able to transfer if the purple is already maxed
@@NovaGamingFPS I guess he meant to fully trait the xbow he already have, which is +9, then transfer to a purple clean xbow
why dont you just transfer using the 0 trait blue gear, instead of the fully trait one. and then just buy 3 or 4 purple "crit hit chance " trait. to max out your sword. isn't that cheaper? i mean 960 blesing is not enough to get trait tier 4 so.
because you want the blessing, its much cheaper to trait out a blue than a purple sometimes it depends now though some purple traits are cheap too
the trait system in TaL is probably one of the worst systems i've ever come across. And it doesn't help that the only currency you can make is only from very very few specific things... And the fact that the currency used is a lot more valuable than the average normal games currency, because its also a "paid" currency.
