A question I find myself regularly asking myself on solo queue. I miss mirror matches, and the mirror matches I do get are usually the people who play like they’ve just picked up the character :(
Tbh, it’s barely even to that. I honestly feel like the attack speed nerf made so little of a dent in terms of capabilities that it just feels like a reverse quality of life change that just makes the character feel a bit worse.
Blaziken goes in that same boat as aegislash. Insanely fun to play if you’re good at it, but it takes soo much practice to make it meaningful. Still one of my favorite mons though, I just wish I had more time to actually play it more often.
Man my biggest problem with blaziken isn't even the mon. It's the damn meta we're in, so many attackers every match that i feel the only viable all rounder is mewtwo X🤦♀️
@@jpraise6771 there are a ton of good all rounders still! Garchomp being the most prominent right now, but it’s really just how a meta is. And tbh, blaziken should actually thrive in an attacker meta. It’s why it’s super good in pro play actually. The ability to nearly one shot a squishy on cooldown is pretty impactful, after all.
rode jungle blaziken to masters SO FAST this season lol. Jungling gets you that unite moveset expansion right away and any game i teamed w a Hoopa resulted in a very early surrender from the other team. Bruce Lee fire chicken does not need unlimited full restores😂
hey, blaziken main here! or perhaps should i say "hypothetical" blaziken main here, as 1) i have a 55% winrate with him 2) i never get to play it due to people on my team making the dumbest picks ever and me having to try and balance things by pickiing trevenant 3) my wifi being stupid and having not so brilliant moments sometimes that being said... hey, blaziken main here! from my perspective, i can tell you that a) the early game usually sucks but you played very well and having comfey or more in general supports helps A LOT; b) the unite nerf is really felt imo; c) that wood hammer dodge at 5:29 probably saved you from another horn leech from trev which would have ended up taking a shit ton of time from you and d) you're really good at carrying in general.
I got paired with a wild Comfey in soloq (I was Blaziken) and I was excited because I knew how OP Blaziken/Comfey is... But get this. It had NO EXP SHARE and picked SWEET KISS. Turned the game from an easy win into an impossible early game snowball. We stood no chance. I was so pissed.
It's not just that the enemy jungler always ganks your lane, Chris, it's also that the enemy team rotates early to throw everything thing they have at you. Somehow, you still manage to chew threw them. How, man? I don't believe I could ever pull off a pre-7 minute lane like you did this match. I feel like your hands must move faster than the speed of light, for crying out loud.
Not related to the video, but anyone knows why sablye is so popular right now? I was forced to help my jungler to defend him like 6 out of 10 games today because everyone invading with gremlin rn. Did i miss secret buff or something
this has been my go-to mon since the buffs. metagross is my favorite pokemon of all time though so I will be keeping my blaziken as only a backup when metagross drops
Talking about that i think It would be great if they buff snorlaxs block to decrease damage of moves like iciclespear, liquidation, mews boosted and give hindrance resistance.
@@HI-ho4bjI think it would be great if block actually blocked projectiles from hitting teammates on top of the dmg reduction buff it adds for Lax. For a defender who has no real sustain he should be able to defend better imo.

Crazy how snorlax blocked psystrike for you but then when he was targeted you let him die when you could have blocked it in the ray fight at 8:37. Snorlax could have lived longer if you bodyblocked psystrike and it would put psystrike on a 9 second cooldown. Psystrike is a trash move if you actually counterplay it. Also having shuriken greninja on the team oof. If people play the mon it needs to be surf and not only that but they need to actually have spent loads of time on the mon because greninja demands a very high skill ceiling and barrier to play when playing the mon well as you have to know when to use surf as a reset or dash, how to use smokescreen s and when to gank with smokescreen, you need to pay attention to the whole map at all times and know when to get in for melee autos and when to kite and also when to pop the burst unite. Shuriken is so laggy you could have thrown out 5-6 autos without rfs before the ws atttack skill actually ends which puts into perspective how bad WS actually is. If the enemy team had better coordination i don't think you would have won at all also blaziken is a cool mon but personally more of a zoroark, lucario, dark bear, greninja, glaceon, goodra, eldegoss who sucks, and scizor kinda player personally. Blaziken isn't my style but i hope we get more techniccally demanding mons like blaziken, mimikyu and meowscarada in the future like a high skill ceiling defender would be awesome to see.

having played both dodrio & zoro, both mobile & switch, I'd say zoroark is a lot tougher on mobile. The combos gets canceled super easy b/c phones confuse aiming & moving gestures
Unpopular opinion. Slightly above average player gets godly teammates which make him look like god tier. Yes I am bitter. My teammates are fucking unreal.
If only my team's blaziken realises that he can cancel overheat. Jumping into the enemy team then fully charging the move while no one is in hit range and then dying and saying that blaziken is weak. Bet half of them dont even know about using overheat from the bush.
Because it wasn't on him the whole game. It spent WAY too long on a greninja that was underleveled, and doing nothing (barely 30k damage and ZERO kills and only 2 assists even with the comfey on him half the game.) He was practically inting.

Just bought blaziken last week and can't stop playing it, the combos feel so satisfying to use and having a comfey in the team feels heavenly

I'm in the same situation as u. I picked dodrio and hell, he's the most difficult speedster I've ever laid hands on
Dodrio is in better spot currently i would suggest to do that and about skill difficulty yeah dodrio is bit unique and have weird mechanics
I picked dodrio ik it's hard but i mess up the zoroark combos 50% of the times and I feel i play dodrio better than zoroark
