Does rain or snow interfere with transmitting between building, also do the antenna need a clear line of site to transmit to the NVR. I have trees on my property
Great question. No, rain and snow do not affect the signal. We have used these antennas in many situations where we did not have clear line of sight and they work great, shooting though tree etc. BUT be careful and use your best judgment, they cannot shoot though buildings or over hills or around corners, so some trees ok, a forest, no. Hope this helps.
Depends on the design, the price could be low or considerable depending on the application. Give us a call if you have a project you would like help with. Thanks 800-431-3056
That’s all ok, but this is only for commercial usage, if the general public required it, this would be a horrendous price to pay. What was the actual point of the video for the general public?🤔🤔
Firstly I love the videos you guys put out and info provided to the public. I’ve been installing for almost 12yrs now and have seen major growth using these Ubiquiti antennas/radios. They can be purchased by end users (general public) now, programming installing and tweaking the settings to get fluid transmission is where the Professional comes into the picture. Ive setup hundreds of these sites PtMP PtP, it’s always a little scary not to have a dedicated NVR/DVR at each location because power goes out on PoE or Radio and that video is not being transmitted back to the headend. Now I’ve only have a handful of cases where the video wasn’t being transferred because of power loss and a theft or incident occurred during that downtime.

I think so too!

What’s the bitrate those 4K cameras use at 30fps (assuming they do 30fps)?

I did not hear him say it was for general public !
It's not for the general public, we make that very clear. Thanks
