Sifu, your statement that "Under pressure, no one rises to a level of their expectations, they sink to the level of their discipline" love it. I have already included this information in my scheme.
Brings to mind the old adage, "Be they big or be they small, they all fall if you ring their balls." Great lesson with clear explanation as always, Sifu.
You should emphasise the position of the foot on contact and how to do the kick or there will be people who don't know what they're doing breaking their toes.
In most kickboxing styles people wear groin guards to lessen damage to the area, that said the impact on the box also hurts. Much easier to land against someone in opposite stance.
Definitely one of the best JKD/ self defense channels out there. No bs "six move" attacks or ridiculous forms. A great bridge between modern martial arts and kung fu.
( KICKS IN JKD ) . ARE VERY AFFECTIVE , IF DONE CORRECTLY .!!!!! . AND IF U HIT YOUR OPPONENT IN THE RIGHT AREA , THE FIGHT IS OVER IN LESS THAN A ( MENUTE ) 😳🙏🏾😎.!!!!!!! . .....BUT IT TAKES , TRAINING .!!!!!!! . ☯️🙏🏾☯️.....
Looks like you guys use the jab quite a bit to stuff the attackers pressure and also to setup other shots. I find this is ignored a lot. The jab is such a useful tool and should be explored more.
The effectiveness of hitting vital points of the body is all but lost in these days of ufc wanna bes i hear all the time about how a st4ong kick to the nuts is futile in a street fight also shit talking about the Finger jab when its right in front of them, how many times have u seen the accidental eye poke or a kick below the belt totally change the momentum of a ufc fight??? Happens all the damn time in mma, sometimes i th7nk certin people just like to talk bad about bruces system. Thanks Sifu
I've got a huge question whenever you ask someone about a boxer fighting someone from a different disciplineoutside of boxing rules they always talk about the boxer getting beat up even if the person is very very good at boxing doesn't that pretty much make boxing the least effective martial art by itself outside of boxing rules how come people if so are so afraid to admit that it seems like it almost challenges their insecurities or whatever is going on inside if a pure boxer who is a real boxer not just some guy who studies boxing fights outside of his own skill-set most people say he loses doesn't that mean that it's the worst or least effective martial art to take don't say it's not a martial art it is so doesn't that mean it and I'm not trying to argue here I want to sift out the argue wars I want to actual educated answer please
Let me go into my example little bit more and let's say Floyd Mayweather canelo Alvarez triple g deontay Wilder decided to enter into an MMA fight or even a Muay Thai or Glory match only training boxing people would immediately be worried for them wouldn't you think the reason why they would be is because boxing by itself is not effective it seems to me like the equation is that it's the least effective martialit's the worst right I mean I can tell that this is a very charge topic a lot of people want to say a lot of mean things to me but over the years I've always heard this but I've never heard anybody who says the exact same thing about a boxer admit well that's because boxing is by itself not effectivesure it's effective may be against it Street thug or someone with lesser skill and another style but if you took a long line of the greatest boxersversus a long line of the greatest MMA fighters or muay thai fighters and you put up a scoreboard and they had to fight one-on-one one at a timewith the skillset being the boxing Style vs whatever the other style was but it be MMA or Muay Thai I'm talking about anything other than boxing people want to put down karate they want to put down Taekwondo they want to say Kung Fu in effective but the reality is they have more tools then boxing so I'm pretty sure the scoreboard would be this mostly MMA or Muay Thai or other skill-set Fighters winning and very very very few boxers winning on the scoreboardwouldn't that just mean that boxing is the least effective Style please again I'm not trying to be a jerk here I do not want to hear an uneducated answer I'm actually honestly trying to ask an opinion from a real martial artist so if you have a negative comment I'm not going to listen

The way you talked about the range in the last was ultimate . 🙏 Respect sir.
You have the best explanation and straight forward teachings! This is Pure JKD and I love it.
You should emphasise the position of the foot on contact and how to do the kick or there will be people who don't know what they're doing breaking their toes.
Thanks from Texas. I would request JKD thoughts on boxing's slips, pulls, and bobs.
Good technique. I learned same footwork in TKD and boxing. It's right on

You explain this very well

E Borge thanks so much for watching!
Good technique!
Learned it at tkd

Polentaccio absolutely! Lee said it’s the backbone of the method.
I think the reason for not seeing the jab is because of the takedown especially in mma
Research the JKD strait lead, it’s not the same as a jab.
Would also be correct to follow the kick if landed, not return to ready position?
Mike Ruddell of course. It’s always about the context. You should be able to do both.
