The problem lies with PCB. They hire Inzamam for Selecting a Team and pay him 1 Crore Pakistani Rupees 25-30 L INR.
Now he Shamelessly backs & selects his OWN NEPHEW, who is at the most a DOMESTIC PLAYER or Performing either against Low ranked teams or in LAHORE/ Pakistan grounds. This is Utter Foolishness and Buffoonery.

Blaming the pitch is such a weak argument. England can't play even full 50 overs on a good pitch. SL chased the same after half an hour in 25 hours. What conditions do England needed to play? You can't even stand for 50 overs against toothless bowling of SL. There is no excuse for poor cricket. And Pakistan has batted first on occasions and bowled first on occasions, ab khel hi nhi pa rahe to pitch ka Kya kare.

Dude, talking in general for all teams not giving excuses for Pakistan. Pakistan has played poor cricket but this WC has been the most one sided WC in the history of the game so far. Equally matched teams are not producing close matches, so there has to be an external factor !

Pitches are fine…players no longer have patience or ability to play 50 overs game. The skills needed for 50 over is fading away. Nothing wrong with pitches.

India plays 3 odi games with whicher team they tour or team that tours India. Have tried so many compositions in the past 4 years. That preparation shows in this world cup. No one else took ODI seriously since the pandemic came. South Africa and NZ have seasoned ODI sides too. Players of all three teams are proper cricketers with proper ODI temprament. Australia too has similar players who just did not perform in the start but got in the groove. Sadaullah is right. That temperament is missing. AFAI remember, ODI pitches were always like this. Specially how to do attacking bowling to defend totals. NZ Ind match was close. NZ were 1 wicket away from bringing on Indian bowlers and causing a collapse. Thing is both India/SA/NZ /Australia bowling and batting are doing their job almost flawlessly..attacking during bowling and sensible ODI batting. 380 is chasable in Indian conditions. England already did that sometime back.

very sensible podcast and i genuinely like this panel but blaming the pitches like this is making him sound like a cry baby, pretty shameful especially the way he is emphasising on that.
It was just another angle being explored as we all are cricket lovers and want to see competitive cricket. It was never to justify Pak's poor performance as we were talking in general. But, we are seeing close matches now so that debate ends.
