Damn. This video gave me goosebumps. Thanks for this documentary, Mukkaram. Since childhood, Lala has always been one of my favorite cricketers. I still remember watching 2009 World Cup and those "Boom Boom... BOOM BOOM" of the commentator. So much memories. Today's children who started watching cricket after PSL don't know what Lala was in his prime. People calling him "Tulla" don't even know why we used to wait for Lala to come and bat. Yeah, his batting became very inconsistent at the end of his career, and we were mostly expecting him to go out soon. But he still gave us some memorable moments. Those Sixes to Ashwin, I still remember watching them live. Your narration was top-notch. Perfectly summed up all our feelings! Lala's retirement after 2015 WC was the same time I totally stopped watching cricket, because I was fed up with Pakistan's performance that time. And I did not regret that decision. Aside from CT19 Final and T20WC22, I did not follow cricket much. Only recently I got back to watching cricket. I haven't followed the new team's journey, but sadly, I am not seeing any future Lala in this team. Many people just see him for his later inconsistent performances. But for me, he's always going to be BOOM BOOM AFRIDI 🇵🇰💚
