New-ish player here. Played smite1 way back and then even more arena. Wanted to maybe make it one of the main games, therefore, sorry for not knowing stuff when playing the alpha x)
The alpha was a shit show for people playing the normal lane structure. Really sucked a lot of the fun out of it being forced to 1v2 in lanes because you couldnt properly communicate with people.

Probably because most of smite 1 player base dont even play conquest
ill be fr i just learned to play conquest through smite 2 and some buddies. I have now played more conquest on smite 2 then smite 1.

I belive flop was scaling of strength, so maxing it first and rushing intelligence item was a bit of a mismatch. 😅
Levelling doesn't increase scaling just base damage so it's actually fine
