When I watch your videos, I don't feel like I am being taught, but always, at the end of the video, I know more than I did at the start. That is the hallmark of a great teacher. Thank you.
Yea, once I saw them show their model, I told them to show Armin. He is also testing out their Howard Hill bow which they claim is one of the fastest if not the fastest Hill style bow
The care these guys put into their craft is amazing. Their channel is also worth checking out. Last I saw they were improving a Black Hunter longbow just for the challenge of it. This bow was developed for a couple one of whom was right handed and the other left handed that wanted to only use a single bow for the two of them. This was the result. Pricey but it is hand made by careful craftsmen/artisans to order vs mass production, so I guess I can understand (like my opinion about it really matters 🙃). It is a lifetime purchase. Armin is a lucky guy to get it gratis.

I just ordered the one they had in-stock. Of course I'm not in the YT reviews business, and I don't have your experience, but it will definitely show up on my meager channel, without comment, for what it's worth. 👍
Very cool design!!! And a sweet performer!!! I have seen several bows designs that utilize the dual string nocks...however, those were to give the archer two different draw weights. The dual string nocks on this bow function with a different goal in mind, I guess. Innovative and impressive!!! Thanks for a nice review!!!
I don't know who originally came up with this design, but the first time I ever saw one of these bows was from Chad Holm, a great Bowyer from Minnesota (USA). He unfortunately passed away a few years ago.
Toelke, Great Plians, american high quality bows with take down possibility i think over 500-600 € there is no bad bow, you just need to be at the the top to deserve it and to be able to use it at 100%
I own several GP bows, they are the best (so far) I had in my hands. I recently had another longbow from another company for testing, I don't want to talk badly about them, but it was no way near of the quality compared to GP. The idea of this bow is nice, but I don't see much use of it in practical. 68" should be fine for 32" to 33" draw length. Minimum arrow weight sth. like 300-350gn what I have in mind. You should test some Arni (CZ) longbows, never had them, a lot of archers from Austria love and trust them.
As always 🙏 A premium bow is a work of art. When it feels right in the hand it's a joy and a soulful experience....ps I like to run my fingers over my Zhu Ran 2 . It's not weird at all 😏
I get the design, I think it's wonderful. Can someone please explain to me however why I would want to flip the bow to shoot the other hand in the first place? What is actually wrong with a longbow with no shelf shooting right or left-handed? There is only a tiller issue if you flip the boat correct? So just don't flip the bow build the grip with a shelf on both sides? Someone please set me straight.
@@brynion2117 well the whole point with a custom is its handmade. Great plains is exact that made just by hand by two people shane and nikolaus. You cant compare that to production bows with 100s of employes. How a bow shoot is just one aspect. The great plains bows has a feeling and soul in them you just dont get with main marked bows.
Knowing that Great Plains insist people use a bow stringer, your insistence in not using one actual caused me some annoyance this time. Especially after your "do as I say, and not as I do" warning to your audience to "always use a stringer". It came across as insincere if I'm being honest. Normally I don't think twice about your bow stringing method, but this time, given the beauty and creativity embodied in this bow, I thought/hoped you'd make an exception and respect the wishes of the bowyer. What can I say, watching you struggle to achieve enough bend in the limbs to string the bow triggered my anxiety that you'd inadvertently twist a limb and damage the bow. It was hard to watch.
Far from toys. They are amazing quality and built durable and to last. Some of the best hunting bow you can find. I own a model b recurve and just ordered a sr swift recurve from them too. Both bows will last longer than i live.

Wow! What a review! Thanks Armin! We sent it to the right guy. If we could review bows like that we may have close to a 100k subs also 😁
Been following his channel a good time great guy.
Thank you

Now that's what I'm talking about. Great bow, Playmate of the Year.
Oh my gosh and holy moly 🤩. Are you serious!?! Two-piece, ambidextrous longbow! Jeez Louise.

Awesome bow and Shane does some beautiful work. That is quite the concept and being a takedown makes it a "best of both worlds" bow...👍
That's a clever bow. Nice to see that it shoots well also.
Großartiges Review Armin. Kann es nicht erwarten, bis der Bogen verfügbar ist. Viele Grüße!

I have a great plains model b recurve and a sr swift recurve on order they are incrediblely well built and quality 😊
This looks like a perfect bow for Braveheart archery range! I will need to keep my eyes out for one of these!!
Looks like a bow many talents. Takdown and ambidextrous. Cool looking bow, great video as always.

The price is a little steep. Do they offer a one piece? Love the concept.
Armin, that is another great review from you! And that bow is pretty cool too! What arrows are you using it with?
aluminium arrows I got from Fairbowusa
Awesome review man. It does sound nice and seems to perform better with heavier arrows as more longer bows do. Cheers 🍻
How clever design!! I think you don't want to take that bow off your hands😂
Gorgeous bow and looks like it shoots wonderfully. Off topic: what is the style of shirt you're wearing? It looks very comfortable
The bow looks absolutely beautiful. Can this bow be given to beginners also?
any bow can be given to beginners, if you are willing to give beginners a bow that expensive
The profile is almost 'Assyrian' when strung.... those ancients must have worked it out.
how did they tiller that bow???
What type of thumb guard is that you are using?
As always 🙏

Maybe if you wanted to switch between thumb draw and mediterranean. Seems pointless to me though
hi what are some of the differences between recurve and this bow?
Desing, length, performance
I’ve never had trouble shooting a bow with the arrow shelf off Center.
Armin PLEASE! What's the price for the previous WolfGang Take-Down Turkish Bow! Please Armin Ustath! 😭
if i recall correctly that was still a prototype.

Great concept. Nice looking bow, but too rich for my blood.
Gosh you are really risking those arrows. 😓
I like the idea but making it a $1300 bow just makes it out priced and not worth the value.
Its worth it look as other custom bows. Its top quality that will last a life time
Agree
