Challenging Slab Leak Repair

Bypassing a leaking copper line on the hot side under the concrete near a bathtub. Rerouting a new line through the attic and in between floors from the water heater closet in the garage to the hallway manifold that feeds the rest of the house.

You guys working in warmer areas of the country really have it made when it comes to rerouting water lines. It sure is nice to have an attic you can run water lines in.

You don't have to air test the lines, just pour water in it or check which lines aren't holding water

Did you also pressure test the two 1/2” lines while you had it taken apart? I’m sure you did, but that would be something I would let my viewers know I did.

Most definitely. Along with the rest of the house afterwards.
