The Haunted Marie Laveaus' House

Visited this house in my teen years with my cousin who dared me that I wouldn't step foot in there. Upon entering, there is an alter set up to offer offerings to Laveau. My cousin decided that she would steal a $20 bill from the alter on her way out. A red candle among other colored candles were also burning on the alter. As soon as she picked up the money, the red candle encased in glass bursted and made a long crack down the glass as the candle burning inside mysteriously went out. She threw the money back on the alter and ran out of the house as if someone was chasing her with a knife! We never stepped foot back into that house and as of today she refuses to even walk past that house. That's what her ass get for stealing! LMFAO 😂😱
