Hi Sal, I came upon your recent video and loved it so I subscribed and looking forward to watching the rest of them. I've been trying to narrow down the region Im going to be living in within a year and this helped me greatly. Also I couldn't find your email address. I clicked on submit but nothing happened. Coming into Italy in October and the Veneto region, small villages of course will be my top pick. Thank you! Linda

My great grandparents immigrated from Farindola so that will be my first trip to italy. Not to mention I really don't like being a tourist and huge crowds like that, I believe it takes away from the experience.

I had to look up Farindola because I had never heard of it, and it looks amazing as does the areas surrounding it. You will love it. And, if you look up some people you may be related to, you will be greeted with open arms. Enjoy your trip!

@@HiddenItalyTravel yeah it's a little teeny town in the mountains east of Rome. We've done some pretty good genealogy and might be able to come across some relatives.

    Hi Sal
I am subscribed to your channel. Any suggestions for one day trip from Venice other than murano, burano, padova, bologna and Verona?

Thanks for subscribing! My favorite town in the area of Venice is Bassano del Grappa. It's very charming with an old wooden covered bridge where people congregate and drink a local cocktail called the Mezzo e Mezzo. There is a free grappa museum which is interesting plus a few other museums to check out. The food is good, it's inexpensive, there are few tourists there, and it's easily reached by train from Venice. Hope that helps! Cheers.

fantastic holiday and food to die for at a very good prices 2euro a beer, 1euro a espresso,
Sulmona market local produce was a real eye opener and very inexpensive, Pancetta rolls fantastic

I just looked it up and it looks lovely. It's one of the Borghi Più Belli d'Italia so with that rating you know it's going to be charming. Thanks for watching!

Hi Edmund and Kris. September weather is great because it's still quite warm without being scorching. The evenings are cool, too. THanks for your support!
