One theme I’ve noticed watching endless videos of models discussing their lives, is how the fashion industry was their education and it was a well rounded, creative one but also immersed in business. I find that fascinating- it’s wasn’t just playing dress up- they really learned from the most incredible mentors between the photographers, designers, hair and makeup, creative directors, agents- all of it. Sure beats sophomore English class. Lol
I am so hurt that Amber said people in my generation do not know her! I adore her, her work, and her strength... and I am 21, so. Yeah, we know you and listening to you!
When Amber was younger, she was surely beautifu, but in a different way from the way she is today. She looked depressed, sad, gloomy in a way. However, look at her now! She looks fulfilled, accomplished, peaceful. Very beautiful, intelligent, strong woman who has overcome fear and obstacles. One of real survivors!
I fell in love with her when i first saw her in a Prada campaign the mid 90s. She always seemed to own a certain kind of lucidity that shined through, despite her problem with drugs. I feel this interview reflects that with every word she says. So beautiful.
She is really a strong woman as she admits her addiction to drug and alcoho. I guess she is not alone who went through that. But she made a choice not to continue and to fight. She is a fighter and I like her actions today. She does not claim to be a role model but she is an example of a fighting model for a better life.
I remember in the 80's and 90's the Supermodels were the role models Now I believe it's the designers and their respective fashion houses are the new role models
My sisters were friends with her mother and her aunt. As a kid, her aunt scared me! She had those eyes, and the way she talked , and she had a scar somewhere on her face, I don't recall. She just scared me!
She was a great model in the 90s and beyond, the fact that she had inner struggles is normal and her eyes were expressive because of that. Some models have nothing going on behind the eyes like kendal jenner. But of course Amber was on the extreme side descending into drugs and drink and being an addict. But at 25 she was mature enough to change. She has the rare ability for insight and awareness into her behavior. She is an aquarian I think? We are thinkers.
Oh i seen it on images wishes to her in future yes look at her then love her dress and her shoes if i were her i would fall in love on myself to meet my mom and my sister but right now i feel empty and lonely i cant afford anymore help im in the future i feel like i cant tell you my age and the small glasses of water i will feel gloomy and depressed as her aand her headphones on and the host too ,I found the image,Greetings from Massachusetts USA 🇺🇸
Models DO NOT HAVE THE POWER today compared to the 90s. Idk what she’s smoking but kids (cause that’s what they are) are only famous through social media.
S St You’re always living with the addition beast, according to her. In another interview she said “my addiction is always one arms length away from me. If you told me I could get high by licking the carpet, I’d consider it.” She’s basically saying you always have to be careful and vigilant.
The interviewer did not ask very good questions either. The whole thing was fake and performed, because she probably is not smart or developed enough or honest enough to do anything different. I think she might have come off better if it weren't so staged and predictable.

Ricardo Martinez You are only one person. Does that make her a liar or are you overly-sensitive?
extremely overly sensitive
I’m 19 and from Oklahoma so pretty much I was bound to know her

Those Prada ads with Amber were shot by Glen Luchford; and they were stunning.
