Really enjoyed the part where Elle speaks her growth as an entrepreneur and when she talks about Naomi Wolf. I loved "The Beauty Myth", a must-read book. Great interview, very smart woman :)
She, Naomi and Tyra are the richest I believe and with the longest lasting careers. I caught that shade, us girls worked for 10-20, thirt.... well I've worked for 30 years! LOLOL
You don't take a gap year at 16 to go to Uni - that happens when you have two more years of education under your belt. I think going to Law School was a pipe dream and a story she is sticking to because it sounds good!

This bleached hair makes her look her age, darker hair makes her look much younger
A friend of mine grew up near where Elle grew up. His mother sent him into the local pharmacy where Elle worked to buy a box of tampons. He was really embarrassed but Elle was very understanding, discreet and quick. He said she was a real sport about it and didn't make him feel like a dick.

I've heard that Steve Irwin was nice to people I know, and that he was horrible by people I know, I have heard all over the news that Mel Gibson is an asshole , but from people here that he would by the entire pub drinks if he was in there. She is , but she's old, people forget she started modeling in the early 80's, 10 years before the other supermodels in the 90's. And good for her, she's clearly chosen to age gracefully, she isn't pumping her face full of toxins like Nicole Kidman.

I so agree with u. There's no doubt she gorgeous, but physically her body has aged a bit. Factly, the reason her arms and legs are sometimes saggy and brownish spots are there, is for all those years of being in the sun. And getting a lot of tans. It was okay that she showed of her famous skin, but she smart in protecting it. Because, skin is very delicate.
