@@ezupusa Actually you couldn't. I sent an email and was told that I would be contacted so they could trace the serial number for the model type. All of the models I've seen do not show the plastic pieces that are hanging down which seem to serve no purpose. Would really appreciate a reply to the email.

@@ezupusa Thanks, one of the company reps reached out today. Seems I have the older canopy model that was discontinued. What was throwing me off was the plastic "legs" that support the dome. None of the books show how these "plastic" legs go together, but now that I see the dome structure I think they must fit inside one another. Thank you for your help and suggestions. (FWIW, the model I have does have a serial number on the frame, but it didn't show the model number.)
It's definitely possible with 1 person but slightly more challenging. The key is to go from corner to corner pulling it open a little at a time while lifting 2-3 legs slightly off the ground. This is easier on a smooth surface, more difficult on grass. Once you have it mostly opened up you should be able to lock each corner into place then extend the legs and you're good to go!
Closing is easy! Simply pull on the pull-pin rings at each corner to unlock and then lift each leg slightly off the ground as you walk it toward the center. It will practically close itself. Hope that helps!

My 12x12 bent at one of the top corners and is now stationary aftwr only 1 use. I cannot collapse it back down
