THANK YOU! I have the easy up endeavor like you do but with the vinyl top. Getting the corners to click upward by myself have been nearly impossible I’m gonna try it again using my shoulder like you recommended. I actually called it easy up and they recommended I check out your video, thank you again!

I have an earlier model I've had for years I can't get lower legs to snap in without alot of hassle.

Sir...and all watching. Stake one leg to the ground and work from there.

I bet that'd help. I think locating the "open here" struts probably helps, too. I saw another guy just walk around and around, sort of pulling each leg out, in turn and sort of dragging it towards where he wanted it to end up when he was done, a little bit at a time. I'm not too impressed by the carrying case and how you open the thing. I'd always be setting up near or even over or partly over (in summer sun) my truck and/or little camper which I can squeeze under one of these shelters.
It's weird, listening to testimonials from average people, who LOVE the EZ-Up camping cube for bad weather, compared to all the other kinds of tents and shelters they had, which always ended up failing in wind and rain or snow. Average people seem to really like them. They could set up the cube and just forget about it, and stay dry. I think EZ-Up is probably one of the more durable shelters out there, and can withstand harsh conditions if properly weighted and staked. They say 5 height positions, 3 inches apart, from a max of 11'5'' at the peak of the roof, down to 10'2''. They're for trade shows or a command post in a disaster, but I can see wanting to be able to raise it to any height from all the way down, to fully extended. They basically give you 5 versions of fully extended, when I can see wanting to lower it to half mast in a blowing storm off-grid.
In the disclaimers in the owner's manual, they say don't use in rainy weather or windy conditions, with specific mention of thunder storms in particular. I just wonder if it might be safer under one of those than just out in the open, because they're like a poor man's Faraday cage, and might sort of protect you. And I think they're probably better in high winds than most of the tents out there.
Many a time I've seen guys bragging about their fancy mountain tent, and then watched them bend their tent poles when they face 30 or 40 mph winds.

Awesome, have you had to use it in any high winds yet. I just bought the endeavor 10x15 hoping it will hold up in high winds. About 30-35 mph gust. I'm thinking that if my $100 tents from academy hold on just enough to not collapse then this tent should be able to handle. What is your opinion on this

@@AMadrigal72 We have had pretty good luck although we have had two damaged in high winds. The leg assemblies we bent. EZ Up covered them under warranty and they are fairly easy to swap out.

@@fraleymk Did you have the poles staked out with guy lines? Those will keep the structure from swaying. 1,000 percent better than just staking the pole down, although the lady suggesting you do that to one leg to start the setup is wise.
