FYI I also have both JP and English ver.20ths in the unlikely case only JP works properly. Also, there was that online battle where you input a code to use your mon online. Was that JP only? Lastly, I have written reviews of the series of very underrated Bandai Tamagotchi & Digital Monster video games for portables. The tamagotchi GB series is so good, digital monster wonderswan ver. Is basically the last great vpet made by this team for consoles in that era. I’m very glad someone like you got your hands on one!
Hey! So I fired it up and the game battery is dead so I lost all my progress. So I started a new file and as soon as I got to rookie level (to connect battle) the game crashed. So unfortunately I haven’t been able to test it. Sorry!

It might be a connection issue with the catrdige. I got it on my phone and it only resets if I try to run the game on split screen.
