That is like 3 days of natural AP if you do an inefficient node with ap cost closer to 20.

16 bones takes no time to get even with only daily ap in inefficient nodes.

Did she get a buff besides oda (Oberon etc) , she was my first 2 in one multi in the last six years …by far I feel she is one of the best character models

Good welfare. Great for those that need her. And will be nice to use on a rare occasion I want to change things up. I might get tired of owning everything with Melusine...someday...maybe.

I don't know if people realize it, I'm glad that Oni does, but Ranmaru X kind of solves the big problem with Avengers: They lack the ability to generate Crit Stars on their own and Avengers kind of have a penchant for wanting to land crits as much as possible in the case of Dante, Gorgan, Lobo and Jalter. Even if they can somehow generate Crit Stars, they lack innate Star Weight to use them when fielded with other more Star Grabby Servants, Ranmaru X fixes that as well for being an Avenger. It's possible that players generally neglect her because her competition is mainly seen in Spishtar, another fellow AoE Arts Avenger who's better at dealing damage but they both serve drastically different purposes. I'll be ignoring Spishtar because her Pros and Cons are already known by now. This post will be huge.
Ranmaru X/Pros:
- Free Welfare to NP5 if you cleared LB5.5 on time and could get her. Basically a watered down and skill subverted version of Spishtar if you somehow never got her at all and no one in your FL has her.
- Fairly balanced HP for an Avenger, which says something because the other 4* non-Limited Time Avengers have lower HP than her aka Gorgon and Lobo have overall higher Attack to HP ratio.
- Decent Attack stat even if a bit low for an Avenger, though that's mitigated thanks to her Class Damage Modifier.
- Skills give her good versatility on what she can do and are arguably more support-like than self-focused.
-- S1 is her only free targetable buff for anyone that grants Star Absorb, Crit DMG and removes the debuff on the target and has a 4T cooldown at max rank. Remember, Avengers lack good innate Star Weight when you carry Archers and/or Riders. The best part for this is when combined with her NP after she NP's.
-- S2 is her weakest skill but has some use in more Art Stall teams, low chance to charm anything without Charm Immunity or immunity to immobilization debuffs or just general debuff immunity. The Defense Down though is nice for letting your team get in some good damage in an NP chain. Also grants 10 Crit Stars.
-- S3 is a 30% Arts Buff, 20% NP charge and 10 Crit Stars. Usually players will use this Skill T1 when 3T wave farming with her but I'd say it's best to not use it on T1. If you use double Castoria + another 50%+ NP battery support or even Oberon, you can save her S3 for T2 if you're not using Black Grail but a 50%+ NP Battery CE if she has her Mana Overload passive maxed out. If you're farming higher enemy nodes such as Lvl 90+(+), and use BG then you'd want to cast it T1 if you know it's needed. It does help her NP refund on her NP when wave farming given that her NP gain strength isn't too smooth.
- Her NP does somethings that most other Avengers lack and could use as an extra buff. First, it ignores all enemy's Defense buffs that aren't Invincibility-based, Guts and/or Damage Cuts/Resist. Meaning that she's going to be hitting for nearly full value. Second, the Overcharge buffs her Star Drop Rate for that turn and has 4 hit counts. On a full enemy formation of 3 at OC1, she's getting around 24-28 Crit Stars which is pretty good for an Avenger, even moreso because her S2 and S3 combined provide 20 Crit Stars and her S1 lets her give any one ally (or herself) the right to abuse said Crit Stars.
- Is an Art Crit DPS/Support, which isn't common so far among Avengers.
- A 'floating' Servant. Which IS useful in LB7 due to one particular fight's gimmick is a 1T stun that happens at the start of your turn each turn to everyone you have active unless they have the 'floating' trait and/or you field a very specific Story NPC for that battle which is even riskier because that fight's boss targets said Story NPC unless you have Taunt on a Taunt Tank ready.
Ranmaru X/Cons:
- Meh NP Gain due to average NP Gain Rate and only two hits on her Art Cards. Without at least one Castoria, her NP gain isn't going to be that great.
- Subpar Star Generating if she's not using her NP against a field of 3+ enemies as she only has one Quick Card and a Star Rate of 6%.
- Her NP Battery is only 20% meaning that even with double Castoria, you'll need to make sure that her S3 is at max level and your Castoria's skills are all at max level to come close to or even do a 3T wave farm with her.
- No defensive skills minus her soft Debuff Removal on her S2 which only works on removing the debuffs that turn only.
Now, that aside, Mysterious Ranmaru X being an Arts Crit DPS/Support is what gives her one defining advantage over Spishtar, she's not built solely for NP wave farming. Being able to provide Crit support even to other Avengers who focus on Crits over NP spam is a wonderful role even if it solely relies on her hard-to-use-NP due to her NP gain issues which means you lose one or two slots to use a Castoria or two, so if you use Castoria, try to give the Castoria a Star Gen CE like 2030. The list below gives some interactions between other Servants, f2p or not in Rarity Order, from 1* to 5*.
- 1*: We have Mozart. Mozart can provide a Star Bomb on demand letting Ranmaru X set-up for a possible NP + 2x Art Crits which with her S3 the next turn when fighting three enemies every time, should let her reach 100% NP if you have Castoria out and buffs up on X. Mozart can also use his Arts Buff to help Ranmaru X get more NP refund off her Arts cards and his upgraded S2 also has its uses.
- 2*: We have the Savior to those who lack Merlin and/or Waver in Hans. If you're not RNG screwed with his NP at NP5, Ranmaru X can get an Attack, Defense and Star Drop Rate Buff for 3T and a guaranteed HP regen for 3T. Hans can also give Ranmaru X a Crit Buff, Star Gen and NP regen buff for 3T as well, helping her get some more Stars and NP gain.
- 3*: These are going to be more support mixed. For defensive support with some offensive assistance in buffs, we have Para for his strong Arts buff (1T) and a targetable Guts for Ranmaru X. For a spread support there's Boudica with her fully upgraded skill and NP kit. Boudica's S1 upgrades provides a Crit DMG buff, her S2 is a targetable Guts and Max HP increase buff for an ally lasting for 5T or 1 time in Guts, her S3 is a team-wide Arts buff. Her NP upgraded is pretty much a weaker version of OG Mash's buffed NP which helps reduce damage Ranmaru X takes while giving her a bit of offensive improvement.
- 4*: Caster Gil is a solid choice, whether or not you make him or Ranmaru X the DPS. Cas Gil's upgraded kit has his NP now buff both the party's Defense AND Crit DMG for 3T, which with how Ranmaru X's NP increasing her Star Drop Rate, works together. Gil's S1 is a Star Drop Rate buff which stacks with X's NP OC effect, his S2 is a good Attack Buff since X lacks one for herself, his S3 is an Arts Buff and Buff Success Rate buff, both are good for X as her NP gain rate, again, isn't that great. If he's the DPS, Ranmaru X's S1 can let him crit with the Stars she drops via her NP buffed by Star Drop Rate buffs. X's S2 and S3 can be used the same turn to let Gil possibly crit again next turn and let him hit harder thanks to X's S2's Defense Down debuff on enemies. Welfare S. Da Vinci works if you got her for the NP Overcharge and NP buff and Tri-Color mini-Mana Burst buffs. Welfare OG BB works for good healing support and Invincibility/Evade removal on enemies. Best Kouhai Mash is there for Defense Support regardless of who you have.
- 5*: Outside of what Oni listed there are a few others. For 3T wave farming on nodes, Oberon is good as a Plugsuit swap in if you somehow fail to get 100%+ NP Refund by clearing Wave 2 using double Castoria with his NP Battery and NP buffs. For an interesting take, if you got her before the previous Event's Banners ended, Himiko pairs well with her. Himiko's S1 is an Attack Buff and Star Gen on allies currently out for 3T, something Ranmaru X can capitalize on with her own S1 which can be used to let anyone out land some hard crits starting on Turn 2. Himiko's NP also lets X's NP get that good 250% Star Drop Rate when going after Himiko's NP. Like Hans, if you have Waver and/or Merlin, then you can slot them in over Castoria for Art Crit teams since the Art Crits and passive NP/Crit Star regen will rack up and get better results for that. For yet another interesting take, Holmes also works, though he needs to NP himself to do it as his NP buffs the team's Crit Chance, Crit DMG and provides Invul Pierce, all of which X would love.
All in all, our new lovable GUDAGUDA Avenger is here to serve as our loyal follower for as long as she's allowed to. Comparing her to Spishtar to me is like comparing Jalter to Spishtar. Same Class? Yes. Same effective roles? No. Jalter is a ST Anti-Ruler/Zerker Slayer, Spishtar is an AoE NP looping Goddess with top tier power, Ranmaru X is a solid AoE Art NP user and a viable Crit Support hybrid in one package. It's worth noting, she's very attached to us to where Mash herself in the event is wary about letting the MC be with her for too long. One could mistake her Final Ascension Art as a love confession between Lord (MC) and Retainer (Ranmaru X), ima.

As weird as it may seem, they went historical friendly for genderbending Ranmaru because of Nobu's homosexual side.
I've been waiting for best chunni in the game for two years and she's finally here.. I don't care if not weak, meta or in the middle. She's definitely going to be maxed out then never used.
Fun fact, a certain anime actually places Jeanne as ranmaru which leads into a build romance between nobunaga and Jeanne herself and himiko gets to play as nobunagas self proclaimed fiance lol

She is an Avenger with Existence Outside of the Domain passive which ironically SpIshtar doesn't even have. So Van Gogh synergy exists as well and thanks to the coins, she would be my first target to be 120.

I've just completed this Event tonight and *it actually convinced me to roll for OTP Couple. DAMN STRAIGHT.* Also got me a copy of Summer Okita to get her to NP4, two copies of my guy Mori so he'd be NP3 and *MY GUY IZO,* FINALLY GRACES MY CHALDEA WITH *NP4, BITCHES!* _(yeah, it's not 5, but who cares? he's here!_ 😊 _)_
