For those of us with absolutely no viable arts looper she's actually quite helpful. My NP1 Summer Kiara *works* with my weird setup, but just barely. Ranmaru is so much easier to loop, especially for those of us without our own Castoria.

I mean, she *is* a good free-to-play option for Arts looping. Space Ishtar and Summer Kama are both limited 5* units, so if you don't have them, then you can use Ranmaru.
The free welfare servant isnt as good as the three top tier limited SSR arts loopers? What a revelation.

If you got Castoria and Salieri is your neutral farmer (*cough* like my alt account), Ranmaru is strict upgrade. She has the coins, you can get her to 120, she has 1k more attack than Salieri and has no demerits. If you got Space Ishtar, Summer Kama or something she's gonna be a cute side option when you want to change up NP animations repeating on your screen while your farming.

They were pretty restrictive with her build, but…. She’s free, and she can function as a neutral arts looper; which has always been something dominated by their top tier units. “They” didn’t want her to invade the space of space Ishtar or summer Kama, understandably. But if you don’t have any top tier arts unit, but do have a Castoria, she WILL work for arts looping a lot of content, especially at np5. Just don’t use her face cards and plug suite when the 20% batter isn’t enough and you are good. As someone with a np3 space Ishtar, and who has played for years, I won’t use her, but if you just started, she will help your box, until you can get a more supreme arts looper, or queen iyo comes out next year. 🎉
Big sad, I started playing a little over a month ago and just got into Lostbelt 1 lol. These guys really want their players to stay up to date on the story apparently. I'll try to stay consistent so maybe I can participate in the story gated event next month. Your vids have been really helpful as I have been figuring out the game 👍

She doesn't age well because there are better welfare arts loopers coming up after her but she hits very hard for the event with the damage bonus and is very much worth using for the event. Beyond the event, her damage is fine (33K neutral is pretty solid) but her refund is not great so she will likely need plug suit help. Whether she's worth using depends on your box and how much effort you want to put into making her work.
If you farm normally with your natural AP she will be b10 month before Iyo so it doesn't really matter
B10 Even before the chinese boy, well he is alterego so half the classes he won't compete with her
@@GS_CCC that's assuming you don't use any of other loopers, which definitely isn't the case for me. I would rather use Percival for archers, habetrot for casters, etc, just much less effort to loop because of much better looping specs or battery.
@@zs190 yeah but then it goes go every character in the game, you can say the same for the next welfares as well, like you can easily get 3/4 loopers to b10 every year if you use you daily AP to farm efficiently, in the long run it's not something that matters that much

At the end of the video Ranmaru did 1 million damage! She's that good. Her only weakness is low star and NP generation that can be remedied by a CE. She's also cheaper to put on the team. She's one of my arts farmers.
One cute synergy they gave her is, surprisingly, Van Gogh. Ranmaru has Existence Outside the Domain, so Gogh can give her a whole 150% crit damage which works rather well with her kit, plus star gen and absorb.

She can farm her own event that's all that matters.
I feel like comparing her to limited SSRs is just silly. Of course the limited servant that most people have to throw a bunch of SQ at to get is going to be better. I think it would be more useful to use other 4* or welfare arts loopers as comparisons.
The big question for me is, should i grail Ranmaru or Salieri? Both are NP5 and i love them both as well, but I'm not sure who would give better results

For result ranmaru because of stat. My salieri np5 and lv.90 stat is actually a little bit lower than ranmaru and ranmaru passive is quite better than salieri standard avenger passive. But in the end of the day pick whoever you like
Best chance for her to get a buff would be when she is added to evocation but that will be a long time since there are many others they have to add before her

It was very rare up to this point (Sieg, maybe Kiichi Hogan) then they went into overdrive and we are going to get 3 aoe arts looper welfares in the next 10 months so Ranmaru looks worse with foresight.

You really aren't missing much. I didn't have an Avenger until I was 1 year into playing FGO so you can clear content without that class. FGO is definitely a slow grind when you are just starting out so you have to be patient.
Bruh not missing much is an understatement. You clearly missing good event, good servants, materials, good limited event ce etc. I think after davinci ruler event onwards we won't get any rerun because coins available at shop now but fgo will probably put her on evocation leaf.
