Can use it daily if someone wanted to without build up like a wax can cause. The better the paint condition is the better results you get with the Adam's Brilliant Glaze. If your paint is perfect don't expect to see a big difference. I apply it using a DA and a red wax pad, quick application
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing ..woww..i know right know..just like you said that only bring out gloss... exactly the same like griots speed shine..so hows your period apply..every 1 months or 2 months...
I cant really tell difference. Maybe its something that the camera doesn't pick it up. Maybe it's just my eyes. I've been watching this product for a while. Ive tried to get Adam's to do another video that really would show it making a difference. It doesn't seem like it's worth $25. But I may give it a try. Adam's recommended using it as a layer between sealant and wax. Thank for the video. I've been waiting on it.
Ok so apparently I never responded to your comment and I am truly sorry for that! It made a very slight difference in the paint. I have tried it again since this video on a burgundy car and IMO it made a substantial difference on that color. I think it would be a good product for show cars as I stated but not for everyday drivers. It does work excellent on glass. I have never seen glass so clear before. I know you had been waiting on this and I’m sorry I didn’t comment before. Thanks
We had talked about it during one of the live videos I believe. I feel like maybe it depends on the color how well it works. I got a bottle to try. Adam's told me to apply it before applying a wax. It will add shine and not wear off that way. Thanks for getting back to me though. Just watched the last jeep video. That thing looks new. You did a really good job on it.
If you want to fill and hide some swirls on daily drivers,or cars that can't be abrasively polished anymore due to thin paint/clear coat, Poorboy's Black Hole via DA, soft finishing pad. Then apply 2 coats of EX,minimum 12 hours between coats, then top with your wax of choice. You will have a hard time finding the swirls.I've used this combination for years on older/antique paints that can not be polished with abrasives at all.
The questions are, will it come off with just one wash? Will putting a wax on top “lock” it in? Thats the thing about glazes, they seem very temporary to me. Maybe good for putting it on same day on show cars. Thanks for the video.
Yes it will come off with a wash. Yes wax will lo9ck it in until the wax wears out. It is meant for an immediate shine for car shows or right before you go somewhere that you want your paint to pop. Its not meant to last longer then a few days on top of wax.
I think you should try on the Jeep. Black seems to show the differences more than the blue on your truck did. Great that you gave the product another try.
Yo I got gloss black wheels. I forgot to buff after I ceramic coat on so it left spots on the wheels. if I use this will it get rid of the streaks? If not it’s not a big deal these are wheels for a honda that’s getting daily driven. My goal with the wheels is just ease of clean on my washes.
I wish they would change the name of this to Gloss Boost or something along those lines. I love the product but it's an instant boost of gloss. like you do it before a show and the next day it starts to lose its shine. I use it for a quick shine and that's it.
I agree they should change the name! It definitely adds gloss but not enough for me to want to use it frequently. I do like it on glass and chrome though. Thanks for watching
Received 2 bottle of Brilliant Glaze. In MYSTERY box and bucket. Don't want to waste time putting on paint. Could you do video on using on interior glass. Cleaning of glass, what microfiber used ect.
Another good review, and this time with after shot outside, nice. This product is a little special, the name is a bit missleading. Its not a traditional "glaze" which fills lots of imperfections. Its just an insane gloss boost. Can be used as a "bottom" product, is does fill micro scratches. To have a wax or sealant on top. But can also be used on top to just maximize gloss. And the gloss actually gets deeper if You layer it. (to a certain point and no of layers) I did a maximum gloss effort earlier this summer, Brilliant Glaze as ground, then Americana paste wax (really love that wax, incredible to work with and insane gloss), and then topped it off with a layer of Buttery wax. Holy crap I got the deepest wettest gloss ever! :-D
Patrick Roos Thanks! It did add gloss but not a lot. I have always wanted to try the Americana paste wax but it’s too expensive IMO. Buttery wax adds more Gloss then Brilliant Glaze also IMO. Thanks for watching
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Just remember that all three products are not intended for daily drivers. Just for shine and gloss. (Allthough Americana can last up to a couple of months in my experience.) Then its synthetic polymer waxes o sealants. Durability is not part of the equation for these products. Like you channel. Keepit up!
Just finished watching. I also have heard a lot of great things so I am glad you gave it another chance. Like we had talked in other videos about it. We are just spoiled...LOL We are so used to the other "good" stuff that it takes something spectacular to geek us out.
I feel that it did as good as it can get on the truck I want you to do it on the jeep so i can make or have a second opinion on how I feel that it does with different colors.
Glad you gave it another try! I can see a difference. I like using it every now and then and like you said it's not a huge difference but it adds a nice little pop! Great review brother!
MeanBee392 Thanks! I don’t give up on products easily especially ones I have seen good reviews on. It’s not a huge difference but it is there for sure.
My favorite one-step is Griot's Garage One Step Sealant but these 2 products are completely different. One Step Sealant actually removes imperfections and gives you a great 1 year worth of protection. Brilliant Glaze fills imperfections and does not leave any protection whatsoever. Brilliant glaze is more or less good for show cars because it only last a few days on top. If you remove imperfections then wax then there is no reason to apply it under a wax. I hope this helps.
In the Adam’s video they let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping off. You just wiped off almost instantly. I wonder if your results would have been different.
Hey man - I've been desperately trying to clean my matte rims and then I remembered your channel so I figured I'd ask you. The rims on my car are seriously matte (like super high grit sand paper). It's a pain in the ass to clean them and scrubbing them doesnt do much. Are there any products or methods that you'd recommend?
I don’t have much experience with Matte wheels. I know Johnnypro just made a matte wheels video. You could also call Adam’s Polishes and ask them the best way. Sorry I didn’t have a great answer for you.
Will you please give Clearkote a review! It's a quick shine detailing spray. Would definitely love to see your honest opinion on it. Keep up the good videos!
Ok, question. I noticed in a few videos of your Dodge you mention the defects are light and you don't want to remove not clear. So what do you do/use when moving to a different wax or sealant? I assume a paint cleanser of some type?
Mike Matthews I either use Griot’s Garage Paint Prep or Purple Power Vehicle and Boat wash to remove any old waxes or sealants. I have not tried this yet but have heard really good things about Griot’s new Foaming Surface Prep. From people I have spoke to all you do is foam it on and let dwell a few minutes then rinse off and it removes any waxes or sealants. I need to buy some and make a video on it.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Thanks. I drive an old F150 and the clear is definitely thin and it's pretty defect free within realistic expectations of a 25yo truck. I just don't like breaking out the Perfecting Cream/M205 for every new waxing. So you use the paint prep looked a detail spray I assume?
hemiJL8 Thanks! It did add some Gloss. You can put it on before waxing or you can put it after for that extra pop. It’s a product you can use anytime to give extra Gloss before like a car show because it only lasts a few days on top of wax.

@@scionofliberty2967 I agree

Thank you!
I agree it doesn’t make much difference on paint but it’s great on windows and also chrome.
I love it on chrome wheels!
You can use it just for windows if you don’t like it on the paint.
Marcus Cassius Yes I have found it works great on glass and chrome.

Is tthis pure polishing with wax...or liquid wax...like your video👌
It’s just a glaze to hide imperfections and bring out gloss. No protection in it at all.
