I swear we had the same experience, I just finished reading book seven and was just ordering the next one on amazon as I was in the middle of the previous. This series is so insanely good and I just can't wait for the final book in December!

I love seeing the progression of your emotions from book 1 to 6/told by the boys lol it was very similar to mine. I can’t recommend the prequel series Ruthless Boys enough! It’s a complete series and was a great read, so I hope you read that as well. The character development is top tier and I love getting Gabriel’s background before the ZA series.

yes I'm so glad it resonated with you! It's totally valid to grow out of a genre as your main thing, but still enjoy it and understand it. It's only natural as everyone gets older :)

I’ve seen a lot of people bash ZA about its tropes and stuff, it is a bully romance and there are themes that I do not agree with in real life. I mean its just a book, its based off imagination, we can’t take all of it to heart and implement it into our daily lives because that is just ridiculous. You cannot tell me that you hate ZA but then love the Cruel Princes series? It’s so similar. Edit: and also, doesn't anyone find it weird that we romanticize bullying at all?
Yes and that’s a recurring theme when it comes to bully/dark romance. Fiction can allow us to heal from traumas and process emotions. Plus in a fantasy setting the types of pressures/situations that can lead to the bullying are so outside of reality that it can make sense/be justified. Overall the bullies in this book have huge character arcs and it’s so fun to see their character development!
I love this series so much that It’s become my favourite over Harry Potter. The most recent book though had me ugly crying so bad

I have a few books in this series, but I didn't really enjoy the first one like I thought I would so I haven't continued on yet. In which book does the romance start getting good? ♓
book 2 a little and then book 3 things get reaaaal spicy
I only read the prequel and I'm almost finished with book one. I'm going to watch this after I read all the books just in case there are any spoilers (or in the comments) but I was wondering if the best place to read the awakening as told by the boys is after book six? That's what I've read a few times but don't want to keep looking because of spoilers.
i tried not to put any spoilers but you can do whatever is best hehe :3 I like reading it after finishing everything that was out already, it's good to see how the characters develop!! honestly you can prob read it at any point after books 3 or 4, you should have enough context to pick up on some of the foreshadowing at that point!

@@KatiesBookNook426 I ended up stopping at book 6 and went back to read the five book Ruthless Boys series and I am so glad I did, it's so good! And there is character crossovers. I am finishing up the last one and then going back to read zodiac books 7 and 8. I cannot wait for 9!
