    There was no discrimination with Eklavya. He asked Drona Acharya to teach him, Drona Acharya refused him as he was from rival Kingdom. But yet he learned hidingly from him. This was like stealing. So he asked him his thumb in the name of Guru Dakshina as a punishment.
    And also please watch the decription of Mahabharat by Ami Ganatra.
    She explains how Karna was never discriminated with. This is the narrative of TV Shows. Karna was a disciple of Drona, and he went to learn about Divya Astra by Parshuram because Drona Acharya, as a Guru didn't find him worthy of it yet, but he was adament that he left his Guru and went away.

    Please read about the family of ambedkar, you will get to know that he had minimum suffering which everyone was facing due to the britishers, even my ancestors had more suffering than him even after being from savarna caste.
    Blindly following the citation and writing of Macauley and Mark philosophy lead him to look India with their glasses which he realized later but too late to correct.

    Bro get your facts about varnas and castes differentiated and figured out

    • @Betweeenthelines
      @Betweeenthelines  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As per Bhagvad Gita, varnas are vocational groups determined by mental and physical acumen and not by birth, people are free to move within the varnas, castes are a colonial construct used to better understand the Bharatiya societal structure of birth based hierarchy. These definitions are not exhaustive, feel free to add🙏🏽

    He meant pandavs were ridiculing drona for being a Brahmin and fighting?

    • @Betweeenthelines
      @Betweeenthelines  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      He meant in general, whenever Drona fought these insults were hurled at him. One such instance is when Kauravas attacked Matysa desh and were faced with Arjun disguised as Brinhala, Drona cautions everyone that this is no ordinary person and they should be careful. Karna insults Drona by saying that maybe you are just good as a teacher and should leave the real fight to real warriors.

    Just see around you with open eyes you will get evidence of caste system

    • @ReligioCritic
      @ReligioCritic 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      True, but that's not because of one community, OBCs are as casteist if not more, heck even SCs are casteist towards STs and other SCs.
      Muslims are casteist too, I have an upper caste muslim friend(Sheikh) and he constantly abuses lower caste muslims.

    • @groot9026
      @groot9026 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ReligioCritic I agree that everyone follows the caste system, but people in power can impose their philosophy on the remaining masses, who either willingly or unwillingly play a role in the game. The ones who created this caste system, benefit the most from it, and actively work to solidify and control the current system are to be blamed, not the remaining masses who are merely participants in the game and not the owners.
      Therefore, I believe it is incorrect to say that SC, ST, OBC individuals are casteist. It may seem that way, but they are not the ones who hold positions of power and authority. The responsibility lies with those who consider themselves part of the priest class, as they are the ones who have the ability to change the system since they played a significant role in its creation.

      @@groot9026 caste system was created on the basis of merits and qualities but when the invaders took over they made our caste system to divide us and brainwashed us to think the caste of father should be the caste of their child ...no its completely wrong.... so as we never get along with each other and they will always remain in power we only have to change that....and whats the problem being a shudra for me its a proud word.......proudly being the backbone of our country...if someone born in shudra family is a teacher today he or she is a brahmin....or someone born in brahmin family do busssiness then they are vaishyas and someone born to vaishya family is protecting ppl fighting for nation is kshtriya......thats the mentality we have to adopt and all words are proud words shudras is the most powerful and proud work acc to me bcoz if shudras dont perform their duties the whole nation will collapse in 3 days

      @@idontknowpoppy You just defended the brutal caste system. What is this obsession with defending the caste system by blaming it on Muslims and the British? Bro, just accept the historical wrong. Who needs the caste system? It is a dividing ideology. No country has a caste system. Why can't people simply say, 'Just end it,' instead of giving reasons why it is good or why it is based on work, not birth? I don't know a single Indian in person out of the 1.4 billion population whose caste is different from his father's. Why not just end it without trying to reform or defend this evil system?

    I don't understand why you need to defend hindu caste system .Theres should be no justification for hindu caste system.
    The Vid is so condescending ..
    For fact svarnas has not grown from the svarna bubble even they did live in it .
    the systemic oppression and violance they were committing directly or indirectly .
    Listen dear , its not very hard to understand what the lower caste in this country go through . You don't need to live in the same bubble which your ancestors have created , kept on the symmetry but solely people aren't fool enough to fall for the brahmin seduction .
