    One of the best things about Randi Rain is how she can get my old motor running again.

    I kinda remember having something like this, definitely remember those cars with the metal roller wheels. Cool toy!

      They made several different kinds of these, but this is the only one that I know of that you can control the speed. The others are just roller coasters. There's a lift hill, and it's just gravity.

    A good toy to restore might be a vintage 100 in 1 electronics kit, actually getting 1 of the harder projects to work. Just remember none of the projects working beyond the 5 easiest.

    Hey Randi, that was really awesome. had a thought. if you pop the roller out polish the tips. put a touch of graphite on the holes then pop the rollers back in that will help out some as well. Also what kind of glues do you use. i need a good clue that will bond to a x-Maxx body with escrow. the glue kept drying out and it would peel away from the body. it is a pretty heavy duty plastic.. thank you.

    Wow! This is a really cool toy! (Great job on the restoration as well!) It is actually the first time seeing it too. While I have seen sets based on the friction / thrust principal (namely Hot Wheels), I never seen it like this.

      @@RandiRain Cool! I have seen it a few times that you restored more than one of a particular toy. Lay an Egg was one of the ones I recently saw that you had two videos of. Good game! I remember that one. I had a couple of the Tomy hand held games as well, such as Digital Diamond and Blip. Of course I took both apart as I was quite the mad scientist myself growing up. I quickly realized there was nothing digital or electronic about those games! The Digital Diamond worked well, but I did have problems with Blip. I no longer have them though. I did keep the Mattel electronic games though. I have baseball and football II.

    Is there any particular reasons you didn't just use the bees wax?

    • @RandiRain
      @RandiRain  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I'm assuming you mean instead of wax paper? If so, the wax paper just polishes it really. Bees wax would be too sticky.
