    I love it!! Gorgeous! So homey and comfy. I feel like sitting down and snuggling on the couch with a book! I actually like the twin beds, no more crawling over the hubby getting up in the night. They are really comfy looking. And I like the night stand for putting phone and glasses. I love the softness that Pottery barn has brought to this Rv

    Just found my new Airstream right here . Really a step up from everything I’ve looked at in the past . Beautiful collaboration.
    Still not a fan of mixing a garbage container with a cutting board/food prep area but I’d just move the cutting board to a drawer .

    • @Airstream-Inc
      @Airstream-Inc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Nice! We appreciate your kind words. The intent with the cutting board being above the garbage container was to simply swipe unwanted trimmings straight down and out of sight but, yes, it can be moved!

    • @saxonderohan9723
      @saxonderohan9723 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I love the idea of being able to use the cutting board and easily swipe trimmings into the garbage, but I have to admit the same thought came across my head as I was watching. There’s something about the proximity of food and garbage that is off-putting, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue. I think the idea to also make it a removable serving tray is brilliant. Anytime you can save space and find multiple uses for something, it is greatly appreciated.

  • @I_Am_SciCurious
    @I_Am_SciCurious 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    At first I thought this was gorgeous, but it’s really got a lot of horrible aspects. Cutting food an inch over a garbage can on a garbage can cutting board? That’s absolutely vile. Even if the garbage bag has been changed, there’s still dangerously high amounts of bacteria and mold in the area around a garbage can, like on the cutting board stored an inch away. The blinds are ridiculous. There’s a huge gap between the blind and the window frame and somebody can look right in. Better stay fully clothed at all times and hope nobody with ill intent is watching you at night. The potential dangers and vulnerabilities aside, how much are you paying for Pottery Barn logos to be absolutely all over the place? They should be paying the buyers for driving around a Pottery Barn ad, because that’s what it looks like. I am in the market for a new trailer and this is a real disappointment because I wanted to love it. Hard pass.

    One of the most aesthetically pleasing from a design and colour perspective. Functionality is so well thought out, however...I would request that the refrigerator door should open from the right hand side, making the contents immediately available and not the left. As it stands now, it is very awkward to access. Huge points to this design and to Pottery Barn !

    Love the twin beds. I wish campers offered them as options more. Not everyone wants to or needs to share a bed. It’s a much better use of space and so difficult to find. Please make it an option for smaller trailers for singles!

    • @DillyDahlia
      @DillyDahlia 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So true! Not everyone is a couple who sleep together…some prefer to sleep separately, and then there are friends or siblings/family members who would like to travel together but not sleep together! A twin bed option seems like a big hole in the market.

    • @ccdolfin
      @ccdolfin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DillyDahlia I agree. I see trailers and I think "were they to put a twin bed in there they could make it smaller and make a singles trailer. nuCamp has an option of a trailer with a twin bed that can become a queen that I am seriously considering. It is 20k less than the Airstreams of the same size, but the option of having a smaller bed without serious renovations is enticing to me. I prefer the ceiling height of the airstreams as I am a tall woman and nuCamp is not made for my height comfortably.

    Dear Airstream team, is it possible to have now or in the near future this model or any other caravan/motorhome offered with the INDUS system by Thetford? Messing with black tanks is not easy and the smells…
    By the way, what a fantastic model. I hope it can be considered with the Flying Cloud 30 FB bunks since it is family oriented. Airstream is the only American RV brand that can keep up with Europeans (and I have already driven some models in 🇩🇪).

    This has sold us, this is our model. Just gorgeous. ❤️👍
    Some questions,
    1) Are the (fantastic!) linen shades throughout light blocking, or is there room behind them for adding a light blocking roller shade?
    2) Is there a list of the PB accessories that are included in a standard package? Is the PB package the same in Canada as the US? Will the PB AS model be sold in Canada?
    3) Is the "party ledge" accessible from the interior?
    4) is the oven replacement a convection/microwave or just a microwave?
    5) Is there a wooden cutlery tray drawer in this model, or just drawers?

    The Pottery Barn has a great new look and is sized just right. But, it is seriously lacking in storage for any long duration trips. Overhead lockers in the twin bedroom would be a welcome addition. And, in the absence of any kind of pantry, overhead lockers over the dining room table are a must. Can't bring enough food 2 people and a small dog for much more than a few days.

    OK, I get it---POTTERY BARN! I wonder how many times the poor guy had to say "Pottery Barn"? Every third word, by my rough count.

    It's beautiful...but..isn't the whole purpose of an rv
    .to go camping..do outdoor activities...hense being outside...getting sweaty..dirty etc.
    Why the white couch???? Yikes that would get filthy...
    Would have went with a dark..grey...

    Bottom Line - Air Stream you should have limited your design FAILS to the POTTERY BARN edition. But you didn't. You carried these ill-advised design decisions over to your CLASSIC edition. CLASSIC means CLASSIC - what were you thinking!

    A “Smart Home” is an excellent feature! I have twins sons who are 20-years-old and if the Pottery Barn Airstream is in my future, technology features are crucial to keeping it in the family. Working remotely also allows you to care for pets when leaving the trailer. Being able to turn on the air or heat, turning on/off the lights, opening/closing the awning…all important! Does the Smart System lock and unlock the door? I love that feature. Thank you for the tour.

    Air Stream used to have TWO struts on their overhead cabinet doors. Take a look at 23:24 on this video - a SINGLE STRUT. Major FAIL. This company is going backwards! AS - Do Better!

    Great! But still not 4 season and no dual pane windows… it’s 2023! You forgot to mention thermal transfer from the outside to the inside. aS is close minded in bring their product to modern times. You can keep the classic look but it’s easily brother to todays time buy using efficient utilities like what truma offers truma combi etc etc … only if AS would listen. Your door “ labor of love is a mess. Is goes out of spec where you have to hammer it back into spec. AS are great if you stay in warm hot weather anything else your screwed … you better have a lot of propane tanks! AS can make a superior product but they design in a closet. For the amount of money that they ask for one of the product it’s a shame that they don’t deliver… I guess they count on their cult following. Just think how many more units they can sell if they made the 4 season… dual pane windows would be a start!

    Very nice!!! Airstream should put some of these touches in other models. The double door fridge & freezer should be in everything from 19 foot up. I'm getting a 20 foot Caravel with dorm style fridge and practically no freezer. Almost a deal breaker, but I will figure out a way to get a portable freezer somewhere. Love the sink in the Pottery Barn model with cutting board and the trash area with chopping board on top. That door bell is a cool touch too. Great ideas!!!

    I love the design and all of it except for the garbage can! Please design and can with a lid that totally seals. Do you know what your trailer will smell like with your current design?? Obviously the engineers were not thinking of REAL Time living! Design a garbage can under counter with closing lid!!

    Hi, I'm an aircraft mechanic and one of my skills is sheet metal. When you showed your rivets up close I saw that the skin is dimpled in somewhat. Because it's dimpled the alloy skin has stretched creating the wavy pattern near the rivet heads. This is happening from using improper technique. The rivet gun is overpowering the bucking bar. The bar and rivet gun must be in balance in order to not damage the skin. To achieve that the bar must be the correct weight according to the rivet size and rivet alloy temper or hardness. In your case the bar your riveter is using is not heavy enough to absorb the power of the rivet gun so the skin is deforming as it absorbes energy under the power of the hammering because the bar is not heavy enough. The bar is supposed to absorb 100% of the energy.
    Your final product is still sound especially since the trailer fuselage is not highly stressed so the skin won't fail, however depending on how you seal the Airstream skin laps the gaps in the lap joints will enhance the ease of moisture encroachment there by enhancing corrosion. Not sure if you all use an aircraft sealant but it would be the best to use and will last the life of the Airstream fuselage It would never leak nor need resealing unless the lap joints were purposely dismantled.
    Aside from all of that, I LOVE Airstream Trailers! God Bless! 😊

    Ummmm white furniture when you’re…camping….outside….in nature, with bugs and mud and sand and maybe with pets and kids and….no, no, no. This is for someone who likes to park their trailer, hook it up to the amenities and then sit in it. In which case I say, why bother? Just get a hotel. 😏

    An attractive trailer...but if I owned this, I would need a couple of additions. First, there is a lovely living room space with no TV within it. The TV that is there is 'too far away' and 'too small' to actually enjoy it. And the second one is that I would need a washer/dryer unit (somehow). Maybe a 'small combo unit' somewhere in the kitchen area would be a good solution. Otherwise, I like this unit a lot. 👍

    Where can I put my generator? Trailer hitch below rear bumper? I didn't see a hitch for holding a rack which would carry a generator. Does one have to carry and operate a generator from the bed of your pickup? Or, even worse leaving your generator on the ground? I always carry a generator to supplement the solar charging of the batteries; e.g. when the sun doesn't shine for a week, and the juice in your batteries is almost exhausted. Don't tell me Airstream never anticipated customers using generators on its rigs?

    Mr. Humphreys, you have saved my vision. In performing my Due Diligence, I wanted to be sure that the quality of product as well as company representation still existed at Airstream. In viewing a number of Airstream videos here on TH-cam I was so disappointed. Not in the product, the RV itself, but the lack of professionalism, class, etiquette, communication skills, respectable presentation and dress of the assortment of Airstream video presenters. No smile, no personality, no passion. In fact, one TH-cam Airstream Rep from FDW proceeded to tell all of us how to use a credit card to open the front window if it sticks! At this price point, the last thing any of us prospects need to hear are a list of necessary "hacks" to ensure the utilization of owning an Airstream. I wanted to be sold, not only on Airstream, as a higher end, price point product but the people behind Airstream. With all due respect, you are the only person that reflects proper dress code, respectability, clean shaven, no face, full body, leg tattoos, well-groomed male, and a role model as a gentleman who mirrors the quality we expect when purchasing and joining the Airstream lifestyle and making the investment as a long-term client. Thank you, I will again consider Airstream as my first RV purchase and the Pottery Barn model indeed has made your product a home, a very nice home. You indeed mirror the unsurpassed product which Airstream has always held in definition.

    Impressive quality and classic design. As an aeronautical engineer, I've always wondered, why are the rear marker and running lights are mounted backwards? Teardrop shapes should have the rounded end forward and the pointed end to the rear, like the front lights.
