    "High Paying Skill vs Degree": For the guy who asked that; I was in the same position 4 years ago when I was very impressed by this fancy world of online earning and I decided to learn coding instead of going to the University and then I realized that degree has it's own importance in life, it adds value and credibility in your personality, it's not about how much money you'll make with that degree. I turned '24' last month and I own 2 companies that I started in my university and I make good money (3-5 times than you are making right now). So, my university didn't stop me from growing my online service business. You can do uni and work both, you don't have to be best on both, just go with the flow, prioritize things at times for example during exams focus more on uni and on other days focus more on projects. That's what I did. I have 12 employees now, moved to Dubai, living a great life. So yea, your mother is 100% right, listen to her. Look how cooperative she is, she is not forcing you learn something of her choice, she's saying just get any degree you like, which is right. I hope this helps. Good luck bro!

      Hey there what is your role in the field of IT?
      Would love to know..
      I agree with you, I am a front end developer.
      But in pak universities many students don’t really care about the field that they are in, especially in CS
      They just show up to universities to just sort of check in like you do in an airport
      This really ruins the motivation and passion of people who truly want to excel in CS by innovating.
      Unis like MIT is like a heaven for a tech enthusiast but that’s not the same here.
      But hey the best thing to do in this situation is to just shut up and keep working hard and just keep grinding eventually u will get there and u will be new in the work force but u will be unique because u will actually hold a degree and practical skills too.

      Hey, I started my own company so you can say my role is to lead the company, you can talk to me about anything related to IT and digital marketing, I've spent almost 16 hours daily learning and working in these last 4.5 years. I've worked on web, mobile applications, digital marketing, video editing, graphics all... I learned all these and continued to offer these services to my clients and kept building a team on side. Now my team takes care of the work and I just close deals - simple. I still feel like I know nothing and learning every day still to improve and grow. So yea, I just focus on solutions in life rather than complaining. I studied from a normal govt university and my friends studied in top private universities, earlier I used to feel bad of not being able to study in top universities but now those friends ask me if I have some work for them. So yea, just don't compare yourself with MIT, Stanford, Harvard and all, use the best of what you have and don't complain about university, you have internet and you can learn yourself. @@mitalicops8538

      just changing of perspectives nothing else . ask those who didn't get their desired job after getting a degree , 4 years , parents money , their time amd effort went into drain . Its easy to fantasize "degree will add value to your life " while it does nothing , ever looked at some teachers being bald , they look like they went through a very depressing period. You parents dont show but they are deep down frustrated . You have to understand that the things you have mentioned can be done through self study , alot of hardwork as well .

    As a pakistani its very sad to know that pakistan dose not have any big international IT or Software company, Because 60 to 70% of the pakistani youth is busy in either making easy money or working for another company. But on the other hand our neighbor country india is continously doing progress in the feild of IT

      Indians are more work oriented and less lazier than Pakistanis. Also there's no such thing 'easy money'.

    • @muddasirbangash2406
      @muddasirbangash2406 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think I can answer this one. Software companies are very expensive to operate simply because the level of talent required (engineers, product managers, designers etc) to create GOOD software product is expensive to hire and hence a majority of software companies in the world that do make it are usually backed by venture capital to the tune of millions of dollars. Furthermore, the majority in Pakistan who do have the capital are very risk averse (90% failure rate of startups) and end up parking their money into property which mostly has a guaranteed return. This risk aversion and lack of long term thinking is I think one of the biggest issues in creating successful indigenous Software companies.
      Software companies need to make a lot of money to justify the expenses mentioned and one of the biggest challenge in Pakistan with creating a software company that solves problems for the local market is the lack of disposable income which would drive revenue for your product. Also very few in Pakistan want to pay for software outright or even on a subscription basis so it doesn't make financial sense to stand up a software company to solve local problems. There are a number of software companies that work on project basis for the international market and they're actually doing really well, employing thousands of people so I wouldn't be so cynical about our lack of talent : ) Would love to hear other opinions on this!

      @@muddasirbangash2406 to put in simple words; the country isn't tech oriented and still uses traditional methods to get things done; hence 1500+ years old.

      Not at all in my opinion. Tech helps create efficiencies where there is a strong need plus an opportunity to monetize. I've worked in tech in Pakistan and abroad and Pakistan has some really smart, hardworking and forward looking folks and some of our technology infrastructures are ahead of developed countries I.e. our e banking infrastructure. I personally believe it's a matter of time before things do take off in Pakistan. Finally, we need to be optimistic and not compare ourselves to any other country as the circumstances, opportunity and hundreds of factors differ widely. We need to compete with ourselves to become better.

    Universities teach you time management skills by forcing you to come on time to class. They teach you problem-solving skills through answering questions and writing essays. You learn to communicate with professors and other classmates. For desi boys, they learn to talk to girls.
    They teach you spending skills by how much you will spend in the cafeteria or bring food from home. If you go to a different university and are forced to get a place for yourself, you will learn how to pay rent and create a bank account. By joining student clubs in universities, you learn public speaking and communication skills. You learn to host events on campus.
    I'm not going to deny Pakistani universities are lacking in terms of scholarly development and not providing facilities that are existent in worldwide universities like sports grounds, cafeterias and common rooms. However, universities are still essential for society.

    • @unvayl
      @unvayl 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Time management, communicating with opposite gender, talking with your mates is something you can easily learn in few months in a professional environment once you have a basic skill so no need to waste years on it, and you're calling it a skill to know how much to spend in a cafeteria? That's something a kid would know how much to save and to spend from pocket money, creating a bank acc...etc all these things are basics and spending years on it is not worth it.
      About public speaking, it's not essential at all. Most successful and smart people are introverts who never take interest in giving useless speeches to make professors happy and if you really want to build confidence then learn a skill, do internship and start working with an agency and you'll get the confidence when you'll report to the directors and managers.
      Yes universities are essential but not if you're living in Pakistan

    That 17 year old needs to share this story w/ someone. Otherwise that creepy lady will take advantage of his silence. Maybe even accuse him further. He needs to protect himself and make sure someone is aware of the situation.
    For the first question, I tried to make some vlogs when I was in America as student. Peechay relatives nay mazaq urana shru kerdi. Parents disallowed me from putting anything. I deleted those videos. Ab shaadi ke baad phir se banana shru ki hai but I am done w/ university so uss type ki videos banana ab impossible hai.
    For the last question, can the couple move to Middle East for a few years so that she can earn and help her parents financially. Otherwise freelancing is the only option.

    My point is Universtity is a a networking place. you'll build your network which will ultimately help you in your life at later stage. a lot of Indian start ups founder are from IIT or IIM grad and their co-founders and angle invester are their senoirs from their own university.
    if someone who belives in doing a JOB has a network of seniors and juniors working at big MNC who would happily refer them for a JOB.

    For the 20 years old from Islamabad. I would recommend you to get a Degree, specifically into IT or CS as your current skillset relates to it, the privilege of having a Degree would be 1- Apko Kaafi companies bohat achi salaries pr higher karengi based on your skills and experience but there would be one dream company in your mind jisko dekh kr ap bologe k yahan job krna hai and woh company ki strict policies hongi k ap chahe jitne baray designer kyun nah ho bagair degree k hum nahi HIRE kr sakte as it is against our policy and companies image whatever. 2- Whenever you are planing to move abroad, everywhere your degree will be a necessesity into getting you an employement visa for a respectable job or even a normal visa just to travel to that specific country. For higher studies or scholarship as well. 3- Bhai ghalti se koi larki se ishq hogaya jo k ek well off family se ho to uske ghar wale degree ka puchenge idk why xDDD but yeah rishte hote wakt they ask you k graduate ho yah nahi, I earn really well Alhamdulillah, bahir settled hun apna ghar gari hai phr bhi puchte degree hai ?

    If that aunty was in a western country, then she could end up in the jail, underage sex is a serious offense. Poor kid now has taste of adult life pretty early, it would be hard for him to control his desires now, I would advise him to marry right after finishing his education or early if possible.

      Yeah pretty disappointed at Junaid bhai if you reverse the genders making it a 17 year old girl and an uncle in 40s his response would have been quite different.

      Not every problem's solution is marriage. I don't think marrying him right after completing his completely baseless. He should only marry when he thinks the time is right. Regarding his situation, I think when he goes abroad he should consult with a therapist. That will help him the most. Hope he gets better

      @@legendaryhound5261 that's exactly what I mean, u by default make girls a victim in such situations as we feel they are pure and boys are by default tharki, but being underage shouldn't be hypocritical, whatever the sex it might be. Predator predator hi hota hai
