Hi Loren. I have noticed from practicing different yoga nidras that there are several ways to guide the rotation of consciousness-part. I have come to know that one of them is called 61 point, which is my least favorite. My favorite is the one where all parts of the joint is called, so from the shoulder one would be guided to the upper arm, elbow, fore arm, wrist and so on. Rather than in the 61 point where it's shoulder, elbow, wrist. I would like to know what my favorite one is called so i can maybe easier find the type of guidance im looking for in the nidras i practice. Appreciate any answer. Thanks.
Hi there! That's probably a hard question to answer because my guess a lot of teachers are just creating a variation of the 61 point. I know for me when I guide to those body parts it's when I am guiding through transmission versus following a specific "name" of a rotation of consciousness. Also the rotation of consciousness is just one way to explore the anamayakosha during the yoga nidra practice . The sensory homunculus might be the closest to what you are looking for.

Hi Debbie! Sorry I know that's annoying. I've experienced it on other medications. The good news is, it's not the recording so it can be adjusted on your end! Head to the gear icon on the video and turn OFF "stable volume" . I have mine turned off in TH-cam settings so I don't have to do it for each video I listen to.
