- Tommy Wonder is one of the world's finest performers and magical thinkers, and this video captures some of his best close-up work when he presented his lecture at the British Close-Up Magic Symposium. Shot with two broadcast cameras. A Must for any magician!
Tommy performs and explains the following effects:
Thanks to Paul Harris - Tommy's handling of the classic Paul Harris single torn and restored card in which the fourth piece appears to restore as well!
Lighter to Matchbox - One of the most visual table-hopping intro tricks. A Bic lighter instantly changes to a box of matches!
Ambitious Card Routine - A clean and effective version leading to Card to Box, in which the signed card ends up folded inside a miniature hinged box on the table.
2-Second Card Fold - A detailed expose of Tommy's lightning quick three-way card fold.
Squeeze - the brilliant illusion of a full deck being visibly squeezed into a tiny card box.
Deck Switch - Psychologically strong and easy to do.
Tommy also provides advice on performing close-up magic. He shares his thoughts on timing, misdirection, presentation and a whole host of other aspects of the magical art - truly fascinating! - บันเทิง
Very valuable advice for anyone who performs in the real world where not everyone is looking for a trick. Just what I’m looking for.
Absolute genius
Tommy was everything that I love about Magic 🙏
I saw Tommy lecture in Las Vegas at the Desert Magic seminar way back in the 80s. He is one of the most intelligent magicians I ever met.
Thank you for sharing these kinds of deeply critical insights that we all can learn from.
Such a deep psychological thinker. It's what his misdirection and his magic so strong.
The greatest magician ever. 🎉
Great Thinker, Performer ❤
Wow I thought this was Copperfield at first and I was confused.
Love this guy
Any more magic videos would be appreciated if you have them! What a great find this Friday morning!
Unfortunately this is the only one of his in my collection. I believe he has a series titled “Visions of Wonder” but I don’t know if it was released on tape.
@@SupertapeVA Do you have any other magic videos?
@@lukepoljak8954 I don't currently. My collection consists almost entirely of tapes I get from second-hand stores and similar sources, so I just get whatever I can find. I haven't been buying new tapes recently and don't plan to until I run out of stuff to upload, but magic videos will definitely be on my radar once I do!
Just discovering tommy thanks to Joshua
