Rene Rodriguez I ride BMX and I used this video to get air on my dirt bike and it is really difficult to pull up but try to give it some gas near the jump
Husky Luva I hit my first jump yesterday and I was like “what if I crash?” Then I came back around and was like “f it imma make this” and boom I did it
Bryson96 I have a suggestion to make you more confident: Instead of being uncommitted to double the jump be extremely committed to roll over the jump, by saying to yourself you will roll over the jump you’ll start associating that jump with a sense of confidence. After doing this for however long, maybe 20-30 times then try jumping it See, I personally know that even if you man up and take the jump when you’re not so confident, things can end badly, I personally was lucky, but I absolutley cased this long ass jump and went super-manning in the air. Since I’m on an enduro i came back on the ground and the bikes suspension reloaded so much it sprung me off the ground again. Basically you just need to be able to associate the jump in general with being easy by doing easy things on it. It’s a neat little mental trick
I will soon be getting back into motocross. I'm 22 now but I haven't ridden since i had my yz85 when I was 14. This video helped me realize just how many mistakes I was making when I was young. Letting off the throttle too early, not squeezing my knees tight enough, improper positioning etc. It's no wonder I always landed wierd and could never seem to always properly get it right. No one ever taught me. It's honestly a miracle that I've never had a serious crash. I will definitely be sure to apply these when I get a dirtbike again. Thank you soo much for these tips and the effort you're making in these videos. It seems to work for everyone in the comments! I'm sure I will warm up nicely now that I have some good tips. Thanks again! Subscribed.
@@Cal-du9tw i did! I got a kx250f and still rode recklessly for 3 years and filmed it all in my other account: mxoudi Currently on a ktm250sx 2 stroke, and I just recently started riding with good technique lol.
I just did MX for the first time in my life; previously only did trail riding and mountain riding here and there over the last 30 years. Stock WR250R (including stock on/off road tires). Was able to have a safe and fun time, hit and land every jump. I believe going through your videos really made a difference in translating my previous riding skills and style to the MX track, even if my bike isn't ideally configured for MX (front's too soft, etc.). Rode out from my house, drove to A51 in Batavia NY (people there are amazing by the way and maintain a great beginner MX course). I'm over 40, 30lbs over weight, haven't gotten to ride much in 3 years (other than regular streets). Registered, rolled onto the track, paced myself, stayed balanced on the pegs. Thankyou. You're videos are well done, very very well done. I think I had a great time today/tonight because of it and because I had a great track to play on that stayed mostly 2-3rd gear but could still get some great air.
Yes I finally mad my first jump on a table top I swear this channel is the best for beginners to learn to ride I’ve legit learnt everything from this TH-cam channel
Thanks for the jumping tips. I am currently the only one from my friend group driving motorcycles and few months ago started with MX. I have had to figure all by myself and at least these videos make it a little clearer what I SHOULD be doing :D
You guys are fantastic. Informative and funny. I’ve just got into dirt biking well into my 40s and your videos are really helping, right across the world ( I live in India ). Keep em coming !
Still riding or in a wheelchair lol I've got off quads and onto dirtbikes for he first time in 25 years this season. First time at track I hurt my feet and ankles sending it lol
Y'all have the best technique tips hands down. I have referred your channel to a few of the younger guys at work that want to ride with me. I am in my mid fifties and still throw a leg across my bike. Not as fast as I used to be but still enjoy the rush. I've learned a thing or two from you also. Awesome work. Keepem coming.
I watched this before I went riding because I knew there was a tiny track where we were going riding in the trails and there’s a tiny jump maybe got about 1ft in the air for the first time and it felt amazing I was so happy 😁 did everything you said and it went as smooth as possible thank you so much!!! 🤙🏼 I spent the whole day jumping it and I loved it so much
This has to be one of the best, if not the best how to channels on TH-cam. I'm just getting back into riding after about a 20 year hiatus. My ground game is good, its when I'm not on the ground thats causing issues. I feel like I'm constantly coming off the pegs when I get more than five or so feet in the air.
Thanks a Ton The MX Factory... watching your tutorial really helped in my First Dirt Bike Competition..I did my jump safely using ur techniques..I saw some crashes before my turn was a bit scared but sticked to the basics and it really helped with my Lap Time .Thanks a lot again 🤘
I've got my 650 off the ground a couple of times and survived more because of luck than skill. Love the tips and cant wait to go apply then in the woods. Great video.
This did help me with jumping. I don't clear jumps yet unless there kinda small but I'm getting the hang of it. I'll definitely try to do these things. Especially the 45-degree angle. Thank you!
New to the channel. Long time super sport sayan trading in for dirt digler. Soaking up the knowledge before my maiden voyage on the crf 250 tomorrow morning. Thanks for sharing the knowledge with lit edits. This my new go to! I will be running though the drills I learned here for the first week before I really let it loose. Keep up the good work. 💯
I rode a '87 KX-125 two stroke when I was in high school and I never did figure out how to do jumps. These videos are really cool. I wish they were around when I was riding. I hope to buy a CRF-450R and can do these.
Thanks bro, this helps me a lot, I just started riding a couple months ago, and have been trying to hype my self up to try the jumps, but I had no clue on how to do it.
Glad to hear that! Thanks of the comment, we love teaching but also love to add a bit of entertainment alongside it. So it's nice to know you're enjoying it!
Thx.....You answered your mission statement. I will try this at the track this weekend. I am new to this and 55 years old. Some how I caught the cross fever....I guess better late then never!
I just started to learn how to jump my bike not long ago and I just kinda went for it without asking any questions. I found this video cuz I'm thinking if I even tried to jump my bike the right way. Turns out I kinda subconsciously did all 3 steps in this video. I will for sure practice more when it warms up again
The Mx Factory will do guys! Hopefully I will have my TH-cam channel up and running again by then so il post the vids on there, “kikndirt” have a couple of me looking like a goon lol
First time j tried to jump my 2005 Yz85 I had it 4th pinned first time jumping on a bike that size, I forgot to stand up which made my helmet shift and I couldn't see anything. My silencer fell off, so did my right number plate, list a bolt so you could move the gas tank and bend the front rim. I jumped my buddies ditch 4th pinned. I apparently went too slow, but I'll do this next time I send it over there again. Maybe 5th half throttle😅
I got a dirt bike and I wanted to jump it but I didn’t know how to but then I watched this and I learned to jump know I am one of the best jumpers in my friends
I’m 36. Haven’t raced motocross in 17 years. My goal is to race a couple beginner races with my teenage nephews in November. Gotta get comfy in the air again.
Hey guys, great content, thank you for the free advice. The video cut-ins of do's and don't are great, but the funny video cut-ins take away from the learning content, had to go back a few times cause I missed the advice or got distracted. Keep up the great work, +1 subscriber.

Great tips and safe recommendations. Question, how can i get some stickers that display the MX Factory logo? I would like to put it on my bike and my suv
Went to my local track and applied this technique and it works
Never jumped a bike successfully before until yesterday
This guy is a genius
That's awesome you improved from them!! I'm sure they love hearing that!
@David David do you pull up like on a bmx bike on a jump
Rene Rodriguez I ride BMX and I used this video to get air on my dirt bike and it is really difficult to pull up but try to give it some gas near the jump
Ngl that happens to me cuz i have no money to fix things but now idc any more

Most important is being confident
Because here’s how it goes for many beginners:
-what if I crash
-Jee that looks too hard
2 seconds later bam
I couldn't agree more, no confidence, no jumping until you find your confidence. If you can't find it, try another sport.

probably better off learning to jump somewhere you're familiar with, and wouldn't need to waste time finding a hospital.
make sure your fellow riders know where the nearest ER is before you go learning how to jump.

Just twist it and send it
Let off throtle to earlier and you will nose dive, full throttle and your going to end up landing on your back

Been taking these tips to the track. Helps a lot. Should I be hitting jumps in 3rd gear typically?
Depends on the size but 3rd gear will give you less of that “pull” feeling so it’s pretty safe but still depends
Just pin it
really depends. i usually do it in 4th on a bike but i have done it in 3rd
